This was what I decorated for the baby shower. Very simple. All the ladies loved it.
I gave all these away for game prizes.
A close up at this little airplane on the top of the paper candy dish (fortune teller paper basket). For this one I used the designer paper(DP) and covered the cert for the body, covered the gum for the wing and used life saver candy for the wheels. I used a rubber band to hold the plane all together. These airplane are too cute.
This view shows the whole thing. It shows the candy dish filled with Cadbury Easter eggs.
This was the biggest airplane. I made four of these. I used Hershey chocolate bar for the wing, Mentos for the body and the peach ring candy for the wheels. I covered the wheel with saran wrap so it can still be edible.
This one was the medium size airplane. I also made four of these. I used the Hershey stick for the body, gum for the wing and Life Saver for the wheels.
Hope you enjoy looking at these cute airplanes. I sure enjoyed making them.

Another Baby Shower Paint Can
Well, here is another memory paint can I made for the shower tonight. It is little different from the previous post. I make each can different and special for each baby just like God created us all different and special.
The "thank you" cards. I made 10 of these.Outside of the mini album.
Inside the mini album.
Some of the ladies at church wonder where I get so many empty paint cans. Some thought I did a lot of painting to get the empty cans. lol
I'll post what I made for the decorations for the baby shower another day. Time to go to bed. Good night.

Baby Shower Gift Set
I made this baby gift set for a lady at church. Everyone loved this tin can filled with a mini album and 10 "thank you" cards.
It is always nice to receive "thank you" cards for a baby shower. I made mine when I had my third child and it took me one month to make them. You can see the card here.
The can and the album were made with the Special Delivery Boy Simply Scrappin' kit.
Gift set.
Thank you cards.
Inside of the mini album. I used mat boards for the cover. I have lots of mat boards from an art company where my sister work.

He Is Risen!
And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
Luke 24:46
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
He is Not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come see the place where the Lord lay.
Matthew 28:5-6
Jesus died for you and me. Praise the Lord!

Give Thanks For the Simple Things In Life
I made this card using the Give Thanks stamp set. I tried the water colouring technique using a blender pen. Not very good at it but maybe more practice I'll get the hang of it.
I'm thankful for my sister. This is her stamp set she order but doesn't stamp so I get to use all the stamps she buys. She is such a wonderful person.

Thank You, Merci
This card was made from the SAB Merci stamp set. Merci is thank you in French.
I randomly stamped the flowers onto the card base. Next, I stamped the main image onto whisper white cs then colour it with markers. To get the two black corner pieces I simply cut a square cs and cut it in half and adhere to each corner onto soft sky cs. I put the thank you at the bottom and then tied a ribbon to the top of the card. Done! Very simple card.
Got to go. I'm making baby shower gifts for Thursday night so got to get busy finishing up. Have a great day.

Long Card
First time making this long card. It measures 3"x6". Cut a 12"x12" card stock (cs) into 6"x6" which you can get four out of it. Fold the 6"x6" piece in half which will give you a 3"x6" card. Isn't this great that you out can get four cards out of one card stock?
The card base is white cs and I mounted the piece of Old Olive cs onto it. Next, adhere a double stitched ribbon then mounted the flower on top. This flower is from the Embrace Life stamp set which is perfect for this kind of card. I stamped it with basic black ink and coloured it with markers then adhered it onto a Ruby Red cs.
Well, hope you have a great weekend.

Birthday Take Out Box
I followed Beate's tutorial on how to make this. Mine is not half as pretty as hers. It was fun to make though.
I used blush blossom card stock(cs) and randomly stamped Time Well Spent flowers with groovy guava ink. Tied it with groovy guava double stitched ribbon to hold the four sides in place. Next, I stamped Happy Birthday from So Many Scallops (SABset) onto groovy guava cs. Punched it out with a scallop punch and adhere it with dimensional.
This makes a great gift to give for birthdays, Easter (coming up soon) and anything you can think of. Thanks for stopping by.
