Hi, everyone! Happy Saturday! Beautiful sunny day today here in Vancouver. I'm just going to relax and stay at home today and enjoy the sunshine through my window. Maybe I'll create some more cards.
Here is a card made with the new Sail Away stamp from the Summer Mini Catalogue. The things in the catalogue will be available to order May 1 and that's tomorrow. You'll love this mini catalogue. There are many awesome things for everyone to chose from. I love the stamp set The Open Sea! I'm sure you'll love it too. I can't wait to make projects with this set!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
Happy Stamping!

Another Wedding Card
Hi there! How's everyone doing? Are you tired of wedding cards yet? Well, here is another one. This one is an odd size card. Not my usual size card. My MIL requested a bigger wedding card and the biggest envelopes SU! sells is the 5-1/2" x 5-1/2".
I finally got my Fun Flowers Bigz L Die after a month. It was back order. I guess SU! didn't expect this die to be so popular. Love this die! The shape with the sentiment on it is the Top Note Die. I die cut the paper with the Top Note Die and then flip the paper around so that the long end is on the short end of the die and ran it through the Big Shot machine again.
Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog today! I really do appreciate it.

Wedding Day Card #2
Hello, everyone! Here is another wedding card I made. The pattern paper is the same as the first card I made.
Can you guess how I got the pink card stock shape for the sentiment? I used the pillow box die for the look. Somehow my die is different from the one in the catalogue. The two side inside flaps from my die are just 1/4" wide but the one in the catalogue are the full ones. hmm...I wonder why is that? Might have to call SU! about that.
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Just Like Mommy
Hello everyone! Happy Good Friday! Here is a card my youngest girl Hope (4 years old) made. She is always hanging around when I stamp. She'll stamp images here and there on scrap papers but this is the first time she made a card. She said she want to make a card just like me. So I gave her all the materials (my scraps) for her to make a card. I just had to take a picture of her beautiful creation. What do you think? Isn't it beautiful? She stamped the "happy birthday" upside down but I turn it around. She was so proud of herself and was so happy I let her make a real card.
Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful long weekend!

Twisted Ribbon Flower Tutorial
Good day everyone! Such a beautiful day here with sunshine and cool weather. Love it!
Here is a tutorial I promised to make. I guess most of you are visual type just like me. I know words just doesn't describe most things. Especially when it comes to paper crafting. So here it is.
Close up of the finished flowers.
You'll need matching colour 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, a 1-1/4" circle of So Saffron card stock (use a bigger circle if you want a bigger flower and if you are using a wider ribbon) and Sticky Strip or Sticky Sheet. Stampin'Up!'s Sticky Strip or Sticky Sheet works best with ribbon.
Cover the 1-1/4" circle with Sticky Strip or Sticky Sheet.
Remove the plastic of the Sticky Strip and stick the end of the ribbon in the middle of the circle. I leave my ribbon on the spool so I wont waste any ribbon. I hate wasting things so therefore I keep the left overs and now I have many, many scraps all over the place. That's kind of annoying too. Anyway, back to the tutorial.
Twist the ribbon (my youngest helped me hold the circle while I take a picture, you need two hands to do this ribbon flower).
Twist and wind the ribbon at the same time around the circle and pushing the ribbon down as you go to make sure the ribbon stick to the circle.
Here is more ribbon on the circle.
All covered up circle.
Snip the ribbon off.
Bring the ribbon end to the back and stick it down with a Sticky Strip.
Here is the finished flowers on a card. The bigger flower I used 1-3/4" circle and 5/8" grosgrain ribbon and the small flower I used 1-1/4" circle and 1/4" grosgrain ribbon.
Hope you enjoyed the tutorial. I'm going to link this card to So Shelli-blog Shelli Gardner CEO of Stampin'Up! April challenge.
Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!

Ribbon Flowers Card
Hello everyone! How is your day so far? We got rain today but I'm not complaining. Rain is good for the flowers, the birds and everyone living on this earth. We all need water to survive. I think rain is good for people with pollen allergy. The pollen doesn't have a chance to fly around and attack them. lol
I finally tried to make this style of ribbon flower. What do you think? Very simple to make. I punch a round circle piece of card stock and add sticky strip to it. Next, use a seam binding ribbon, start in the middle, twisted it and wind it around the circle card stock. Keep the ribbon on the spool to get the length you need. If you cut it then it might be too short or too long. You don't want to waste ribbon if you don't need to. If you want to me to make a tutorial just let me know.
Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday Tree Card
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was quite exciting and tiring at the same time. I did a short trip to Kelowna. Very short because we were their for only 2 hours. Well, Kelowna is about 4-5 hours away. We were there and back the same day. It was sunny here in Vancouver and Kelowna but along the way there were snow and blizzard. There was a truck that went into a ditch and was flipped to it's side. Why did we went to Kelowna you ask? My DH's company needed someone to bring a almost brand new bus to Kelwona and drive a bus with problems back. Crazy wasn't it? But we made it home safely and made it back for my MIL birthday dinner . It was busy but we also got to visit my kids' home school teacher in Kelowna. We had a wonderful time visiting her.
Anyway, enough about my weekend. Here is another masculine card for ya. Very simple and nice at the same time.
I also want to thank Michelle D over at Upsy Daisy for the Versatile Blogger Award.
Well, gotta run and create more cards. Have a wonderful day!

Thank you everyone for playing along and all the feed back for my question. It really means a lot to me that you all took the time to leave a comment. I'll keep doing what I'm doing right now and I'll make more masculine and kiddie cards. Those 2 are my weakest in creating but it is nice to make more more often.
