Cutlery Holder

Hello, everyone! Happy Friday! Today is a very busy day for me. I'm babysitting and after that I'll be going to a Nursery Meeting at night. So what's all those things in the above picture? They are cutlery holders. This was what I was talking about for the pass few days.

I made these to decorate for the Nursery Meeting. I made the pattern to hold a fork, a knife and a spoon. What do you think? You like? I love this holder!

Here is how it looks like with the cutlery in it.

Here is a close up of the front of the holder. The leaves are die cut. I sponged the leaves in Chocolate Chip ink and my fingers looked all brown after I don't know how many leaves I sponged. I made leaves to go on the table also so I'll show you that tomorrow.

Fall Thanks So Much Card

Here another fall card. I used the French Foliage stamp set again. The leaf on the top left is a die cut leaf. I cut a lot of this leaf for the decorations for tomorrow's meeting at our church. Come back tomorrow and I'll show you what I made for the decoration.

Thank you for visiting! Have a good day!

Autumn Thank You Card

Hello, everyone! Happy Wednesday! What a beautiful sunny fall weather today. Don't you just love the feeling of fall weather? I love all those changing colour of the leaves on the trees. They are so beautiful.

Here is a card inspired by all those beautiful fall leaves. This is a new stamp set called French Foliage from the Holiday Mini Catalogue. There are wonderful new stamp sets in there I must have. Not so crazy for the Halloween stuff. I love the the Designer Fabric Stampin'Up! is selling. I love fabrics. I used to sew a lot and make tons and tons of outfit. Now you have to have lots of money to sew. It is so much cheaper to buy clothing than sew them. Sigh!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a lovely day!

Birthday Heart Card

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Here is a quick card for you. I have the heart piece laying around waiting to be use and finally I put it onto a card. What do you think of the card? I don't quite like it to much. It looks alright but it just doesn't stand out at all. Oh, well!

I'm busy making things to decorate our church for a Nursery Workers Meeting this Friday. I'll show you when I'm decorate the church this Friday. I'll take pictures I promise.

Thank you for visiting today! Have a good one!

Birthday Wishes Flowers Card

Hello, everyone! Happy Monday! I was busy this weekend moving all my stamping stuff downstairs to the living room. We separated the girls from my son so now he have his own room. That means I have to move out of one of the bedroom I used for stamping before.

This is of the card I made to give to my future SIL. I packaged up 20 different cards and gave them to her. It is her birthday today. Hope she likes them all. She is such a sweetheart.

Halloween Treats

Hello, everyone! Happy Friday! I don't celebrate Halloween but my sisters and nephew does. So I made these little treat for them to give to their friends at school.

A sour cream container with a little bag of Mott's Fruit Sensation inside.

The sour cream container is made with a quarter sheet of Whisper White cardstock. The bottom of the container is sealed and the top it not. The opening is tie with a ribbon and can be open when you take the ribbon out. This way the kids (might) not ruin the container if any of them care to keep it. But with kids you never know.

Thank you fro stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Long, Long Time...

Hello, everyone! It has been a long time since I last post. I've been busy, lazy, sad and many other things coming to me all at once. Crafting just became the back burner of it all and now I'm trying to get back into stamping. I did manage to make "thank you" cards for my sister. She is married now so she needed them to thank people. It is a very simple "thank you" card cause that is the way my sister likes it and is easy for me to do to get back to stamping groove.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! Have a wonderful day!

Welcome, Little One

Happy Wednesday, everyone! It is starting to feel like summer here in Vancouver. Very hot today but I'm not complaining.

I made this card for a friend back in May. She wanted a few of some baby cards to have on hand to give away when a baby is born. I made her different ones so she doesn't have to give the same style card to different baby.

This baby stamp set is retired and I love it very much. I used it a lot but I think it is time for a new baby stamp set. I like the new Baby Bundle stamp set in the new catalogue so it'll be in my next order. Yay! New stamp set is always nice!

supplies:
stamp-welcome, little one
papers-whisper white, pretty in pink, crushed curry
inks-melon mambo
accessories-polka-dots grosgrain ribbon, scallop edge border punch, corner rounder punch, pastels

Thank you for visiting today. Have a wonderful day!

Tropical Birthday Card

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Here is a card I made using the Tropical Party stamp set. I got this set since it was available to buy and it was sitting there waiting for me to ink it up.

I embossed the background paper using the Square Lattice Textured Impression Embossing Folder. The scallop behind the sentiment is the new 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Extra-Large punch. Love it! The only problem is that my 1-3/4" Circle punch is broken. I have to get another one if I want to make cards with this new scallop punch. Another item add to my ever growing wish list.

supplies:
stamps - tropical party, well scripted
papers - whisper white, pumpkin pie, rose red
inks - pumpkin pie, rose red, tempting turquoise, old olive, chocolate chip
accessories - Square Lattice Textured Impression Embossing Folder, Big Shot machine, 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Extra-Large punch, 1-13/4" Circle punch

Thank you for stopping and have a wonderful day.

Wedding Invitations

What have I been up to? I have been making wedding invitations for my sister, finished up homeschooling and scan work samples to send to the teacher. Babysit in the morning so by night time I'm pooped. I just want to sit around and do nothing after the baby leaves. Now that everything is done (except babysitting) I can start creating some cards with new stamp sets and accessories. Yay! Love the new catalogue and the cover is so beautiful!

Here is the invitation I made for my sister. It is the same one in the 2009-2010 catalogue. The catalogue doesn't show the outside of the invite so I made up my own look. What do you think? Beautiful isn't it?

Here is the inside of the invitation. I changed it a little where the RSVP holder is and the top of the invites. I also coloured in the flowers on the invites with a sponge dauber.

Here is a closer view of the RSVP card holder.

supplies:
stamps- wedding sweet, to have and to hold
papers- chocolate chip, linen paper (non SU)
inks- close to cocoa, Versa Mark
accessories- big shot machine, elegant bouquet textured impression folder, clear and white embossing powder, kraft taffeta ribbon, eyelet border punch, sponge dauber

Watercolor Trio

Happy Tuesday, everyone! I was going to write Monday instead. I had a stat holiday on Monday and now my days are mix up.

This card is almost one layer card but I can't seem have no layers on my card. I did the faux tearing technique for this card. The Watercolor Trio stamp set is perfect to make this kind of card. No colouring involve. My favourite kind of set.

Remember I told you that my camera lens was broken and it doesn't do auto focus anymore? Well, a friend bought a new lens and he never liked his old one (we have the same camera). He didn't want to keep his old lens so he gave it to us. Yippee! Praise the Lord for that! What a blessing our friend is! Now, I don't have to manual focus my projects anymore. lol

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Victorian Flowers

Hello, everyone! Happy Friday! It is our civic holiday long weekend this week. We are not going anywhere or doing anything special for this long weekend because DH have to fly to Calgary for a funeral. I'm hoping I'll have a chance to make more cards to show you.

Aren't these flowers beautiful? I love them but not sure what kind of flower it is. This stamp is from the Elements of Style stamp set from the Summer Mini. I add some Dazzling Diamonds on a flower where the sentiment is. Can't really see it that well. It is kinda blurry. My camera lens is broken. It doesn't do auto focus anymore so I have to focus the picture manually. You can tell I'm not to good at focusing it manually.

Thank you for visiting today and have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Monday, everyone! Here is card I made for the Mojo Monday 139 Sketch Challenge. Not an easy sketch to do. Looks easy but it was hard for to place everything to fit right. I manage to make 2 of this card though. Now I'll have them on hand when I need a masculine birthday card. Making masculine card is always a challenge for me especially most of my stamps are flowers.

Designer Purse

Hello, everyone! It seems like forever since I stamp and this purse that I made have no stamping on it at all. Gotta get stamping. This is the same purse style as the Greenhouse Garden purse (tutorial here) but only higher/taller.

I drew the dotted lines on the purse flap with a white gel pen to match the ribbon. The flap is held down with Velcro. Didn't do a good job drawing the lines in. Should have use a template. Oh, well! What do you think of this purse? I love it! There are so many possibility you can decorate this purse. You can even put treats in there to give to away as a gift.

Well, gotta run. Today is my 14th year wedding anniversary but we are not doing anything special. DH have work and tonight we are having a Sunday School Bus meeting. Guess we'll have to celebrate it another day.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
