Valentines Boxes For The Teachers

I made some boxes for the school teachers. There  are only 3 teachers so it wasn't a lot to make for.

I used the Petal Cone Die to make the box. Do you that you can still get this die? Go to Stampin'Up! website and it is under clearance rack section. Look for this die. It is on sale while supply last. I do recommend to get this die. There is so much you can do with it. It is worth your money.

I punched two holes at the top of the boxes and tied them with a tinsel tassel. I think that what's called. It is something I have for a long time so I don't remember the name of it.

I filled each boxes with yummy jujubes.

Thank you for visiting my blog! Happy Stamping!

Petal Cone Gift Box Tutorial For Sale

ETA: You can still purchase the Petal Cone Die over at Stampin'Up! website while supplies last as of Feb. 24, 2014. It is on clearance under the clearance rack.

For the past few years I have had many requests for the tutorial for this box. This past week I posted a new box I made using the instructions as the box shown above. Since then, I have had many more requests  for the instructions so I have decided to offer the tutorial. It is an old tutorial and some products I used in the tutorial are retired. But, in order to complete this tutorial you will require the Petal Cone Die from Stampin'Up!. Unfortunately, this die has been retired.

Now this is my most favoured die and tutorial. Needless to say, this tutorial is for your personal use only. It is not for resale or is for holding craft classes. Thank you and enjoy!

Petal Cone Gift Box

Hello stampers! I made a gift box using the SU Petal Cone Die (retired). I love this die very much. Sad it is no longer available. I'm giving this to a friend's mom who is stamping with me tonight. I'm so excited to have friends over to stamp with me. It has been awhile.

I used the kraft card stock that was extra thick and perfect for this box. I made one using Stampin'Up!'s card stock before but not thick enough for me. I can put chocolates in there and not worry about it breaking.

I used the Fun Flowers Die and then embossed it with the Vintage Wallpaper Folder to make the flower. Add a Vintage Flower Adornment to the middle of the flower to finish it off.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

A Light Unto My Path Frames

Something to show you besides Valentine creations. I made two art frames using the "A Light Unto My Path" stamp set. Love this set a lot! I love lighthouses and love visiting them whenever I can. The pictures I took of these frames are not so great. Kinda dull. I use natural light that comes through my window for pictures and it wasn't a nice day that day.

This one took a little longer to make. I couldn't get everything to fit right the way I want it but finally I settle with this.

Candy Stick Box

Hello stampers! Here is a box that holds 4 candy sticks. It is a simple box made from the kraft paper. The paper holds the candies very well. The box measures 3-1/2" wide x 4" long and about 1/2" thick.

This time I adhere hearts to the top of each candy sticks. It adds a nice touch to the candies.

Valentine Candy Sticks Pretty Packaging

I bought a bag of Valentine candy sticks and made a pretty little pocket/holder for it. I used the framelit for the shape. Stamped it with a background stamp and then sponge around it.

Added ribbon and flowers to the front of the pocket/holder. It is only big enough to hold 2 candy sticks. I might make a different holder to see if I can put 4 candies in there.

Love You The Way You Are Valentine Card

Hello stampers! I didn't go out shopping or anywhere this past weekend so I did some stamping. I'm so thankful for a wonderful husband for letting me stamp. I love him to bits. I made a Valentine card. Not a fussy one. Very simple. The hearts was sewn together to give it a 3D effect. This card was made from the same thick kraft paper I used for my Christmas cards. I love it a lot. The only thing is that's the only colour it comes in but I'm not complaining. They are free papers and I love free stuff.

Valentine Pillow Boxes

Hello stampers! Here is another project I made using the kraft colour card stock. I made 2 boxes out of the Pillow Box Die. I stamped the boxes with the Hearts A Flutter stamp set.

This box was stamped with Soft Suede ink and a red ribbon to tie the box together. I love the sentiment Trust God stamp set for this box. I love the font and what it said on it "God is Love."

This box was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink and a brown ribbon to tie the box together.

Valentine Trio Milk Carton Boxes

Hello stampers! I'm making use of the kraft colour card stocks a friend gave to me. I made 3 different Valentine milk carton boxes. I added some reds to each boxes for some colour.

This one was stamped with 2 hearts on the 4 sides of the box.

I can't seem to remember the name of the embossing folder I use for this box. No sentiment on this box.

This one was embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. The embossed part was sponge with Cherry Cobbler ink to add some colour.

Box For The Disney Frozen Cup

My niece is a New Year baby. She turned 5 this year. We bought her a Disney Frozen cup put money in it. She loves the Frozen movie products so I thought she can buy whatever she does not have yet. I made a box to house the cup and matched the colour to the cup.

I made a hole in the middle of the lid so the straw can stick out. Either that or make a bigger box to hide the straw. I like the straw sticking out better.

I stamped snowflakes on the bottom piece because the cup has snowflakes on it. It was easy to do since I love snowflake so much.

Here is the inside of the box. Do you see the colourful snowflake on the cup? My 7 years old made that. She was so patience in making it colourful.

She coloured it onto the rubber stamp using the SU markers and them stamp the snowflake onto a Whisper White card stock.

Hopefully 2014 I will be able to create more and blog more. Last year was a rough year for me. I was sick most of the time and was substituting at school a lot leaving me less time to create. But I'm thankful and joyful through all the tough times. God's been there caring for me through it all.

Hanging Valentine Hearts

Hello stampers! Happy New Year! I feel a lot better from the car accident. Thank you for praying for me. I don't have constant headache, neck or back pain anymore. Still have pain but I can bear little pain. Physiotherapy really helps. I still can't look down too long. Makes my neck hurt.

Since I missed creating projects for Christmas I thought I start making Valentine projects early for the new year. I took it easy making it since I'm not 100% well yet. Rest when needed.

I made hanging hearts on strings. It would be nice to hang these around the house. I die cut all the pink and red papers I have using the Hearts Collection Framelits Die.

After I die cut all the hearts I fold them in half and then sew them together. Each hearts has 6 pieces of hearts sewn together. I put three sets of hearts together and then tape them onto a string.

I sewed the hearts together instead of gluing them together. I want them to flutter out to make them 3D like.

Top view of the sewn hearts.

These are the little hearts at the bottom of each heart strings. These tally ties the hanging hearts together.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy creating!

Christmas Snowflake Gift Tags

Hello stampers! Time sure fly by fast. It is Christmas already. Hope you got all your shopping done. One year I didn't and had to shop on Christmas Eve. The mall was so busy. It was not a good idea at all.

I was asked to make some gift tags for the treats for the Christian School kids. This was what I made, a snowflake ones. The kids did a wonderful job performing the Christmas play on Sunday night and each one of them received a yummy treat bag for their job well done.

I stamped the snowflakes using the Festive Flurry stamp set and then die cut them using the Festive Flurry Framelits Dies. I put a blue rhinestone in the middle of each snowflakes. The sentiment is from the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set and then was punched out using the Word Window punch. The snowflakes were nicely tied to the bags. All the kids love it, the treats I mean.

Happy Holidays! Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Holidays

Wishing you all a blessed and safe Christmas Season! Happy Holidays! Jesus is the reason for the season.

I made a simple Christmas card this year.  I'm bless by a friend who gave me tons and tons of kraft card stock so I use it for the cards this year. Still have lots. Need to think of uses for it.

I used the new Festive Flurry snowflake. The biggest one in the set.

Update on my injury from car accident. I have constant back, neck and headache. Sometime it is hard to sit in one position. I'm becoming a wiggle worm at church services. I need to see the physiotherapy 3 times a week. I can't look down too long. It hurts to do that. I can't stamp long anymore which requires looking down a lot. Please pray for me. Not fun getting injure.

Festive Flurry Snowflake

Good day! Finally, I was able to make the snowflake that I want to make for the longest time when I first saw the Festive Flurry stamp set and the matching framelit die this past weekend. I was in pain from the car accident on Thursday and wanted to keep the pain off my mind so I made a snowflake. Took me awhile to finished the snowflake though. Not easy to do things when you are in pain. A lady cut into our lane when she turned left and hit the front of our car. We were stop at the stop sign waiting to turn right to go to Michael's. I was the passenger and my husband was the driver. He seems to be ok. I was glad our kids wasn't with us. God is good! He protected us.

Anyway, onto the snowflake. I added blue rhinestones to the each points of the snowflakes. Gotta have some bling to the snowflake.

I'm going to make a different one using embossing powder. Can't wait ti make it.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Thinking Of You Card

Hello stampers! I'm still here. Have been busy and sick a lot. Couldn't get to my stamping corner to stamp. I'm a lot better now. I had to take a higher amount of iron supplement to eat the energy I needed. If you are new to my blog you might not know that I'm anemia. Not a life and death kind of sickness but it does slow me down a lot. Can't do many things like stamping. That's pretty important to me. lol

Anyway, here is a card I made. A simple one since I have not stamp for awhile.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!
