Easter Eggs Pouch and a Matching Card

Hello, everyone! Here is an Easter Eggs pouch and a matching Easter card. I made the pouch myself. It holds two mini chocolate Easter eggs. Isn't the little chick adorable? I love this A Good Egg stamp set. The chick is sooo cute! I stamped the half egg shell onto a DSP, cut it out and adhere to the plain half egg shell. It is so quick and nicer than if I coloured the egg shell. I wanted the chick to have a very subtle yellow look so I coloured the chick using a blender pen and with So Saffron ink. The rest of the card and pouch is pretty much self explanatory.

Close up of the closed pouch. I used a 3 1/4" x 11" cardstock and scored it at 1 1/2", 2 1/4", 4 3/4", 6 1/4", 8 3/4" and 9 1/2".

Inside of the pouch. I cut a 3 1/4" x 3 1/2" piece of cardstock and scored on the 3 1/2" side at 1/2", 1 1/2" and 3". I used the 1 1/4" circle punch to punched the two holes for the eggs to sit in. Then I adhere it to the pouch. Hope this helps if you want to make one. If not you can email me for more details.

Here is the template. It is not the greatest quality. I don't know how to do it on computer. The bottom and the top that have no lines is the edge of the paper.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! Love to hear what you think of this Easter pouch.

Happy Stamping!

  4. Hi jmniffer,

The eggs are from Walmart here in Canada. There are 12 in a clear plastic carton (like the egg carton). It doesn't have a brand name to these eggs. The egg measures 4" around and 2" tall. They are smaller than Kinder Surprise. Hope this helps.
