Manhatten Floral Bithday

Happy Monday, everyone! Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers for my littlest one. She was coughing a little in the morning but then by the afternoon she was ok. Now she have a sniffle only. We ended up going to church which was wonderful. Got to hear a missionary to Romania speak. Also, it was my first day back singing in the choir. It has been 6 years since I sang in the choir. I didn't know the song we sang but I think I did pretty well singing it. Besides, I can always lip sink if I don't know the song. lol That's the beauty of singing in the choir. People are not listening just you alone but the whole choir.

I made this card with the Manhatten Flower Embossing Folder. Love it! To get the look of yellow on the flower I used a sponge dauber, picked up the so saffron pastel colour and then rubbed it onto the flower in a circular motion. I rubbed more pastel into the are where I wanted to be darker. Isn't it pretty? It is so soft looking.

Supplies:
stamp-it's your birthday
paper- whisper white, so saffron
ink- basic black
accssories- pastels, sponge dauber, wasabi ribbon, Manhatten Flower Embossing folder, Big Shot, double retagnle punch

Happy Stamping!
Deanna

  2. I love everything about this card. The embossing, the colors and the way you added just the right touch of color here and there!
