Paper Carnation Tutorial

Happy Friday everyone! I have a tutorial for you. I'm going to show you how to make a paper carnation.

I realized that my photo does not have every materials in there so I'll just list them out for you.

 You'll need:
Whisper White Card Stock (but any card stock will do)
 Ink Pad (any colour)
1-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch
Piercing Tool
Matt Pack (foam part)
1 Brad
Spray Water Bottle
Sponge
Stamp Cleaner Pad

1.Punch 6 scallops out, pierce a hole in each scallops and then sponge them on both sides.

2.Put the scallops onto the Stamp Cleaner Pad and spray them with water on both sides.

3.With you fingers, scrunch up the 6 scallops.

4.Open the scallops up.

5.Put a brad through the hole of each scallops and fasten it up at the back.

6.Start with the middle scallop and push it into the middle. Work one scallop piece at a time.

7.This is how it should look like after you pushed all the scallop pieces to the middle. The purple flower is a dry one and the red one is still wet. See the difference in the size? They shrink after the flower is dry but not too much. Let the flower dry over night. Now you can put the flower onto your creation.

Hope you enjoy the tutorial! Let me know what you think. Have a good day.

Happy Stamping!
Deanna
