Christmas Snowflake Gift Tags

Hello stampers! Time sure fly by fast. It is Christmas already. Hope you got all your shopping done. One year I didn't and had to shop on Christmas Eve. The mall was so busy. It was not a good idea at all.

I was asked to make some gift tags for the treats for the Christian School kids. This was what I made, a snowflake ones. The kids did a wonderful job performing the Christmas play on Sunday night and each one of them received a yummy treat bag for their job well done.

I stamped the snowflakes using the Festive Flurry stamp set and then die cut them using the Festive Flurry Framelits Dies. I put a blue rhinestone in the middle of each snowflakes. The sentiment is from the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set and then was punched out using the Word Window punch. The snowflakes were nicely tied to the bags. All the kids love it, the treats I mean.

Happy Holidays! Thank you for stopping by!

Vintage Christmas Ornament

Good day! Hope you are having a wonderful day! This summer seems to be busy for me. I'm hardly at home. I finally have the chance to create something.

I was so excited when Stampin'Up!  sent me the Holiday Mini Catalogue. I love the ornament on the cover so I ordered the Ornament Keepsakes Bundle that have the stamp set and the framelits when it was available to order.

I case the ornament on the cover of the catalogue. I did mine in kraft colour. I added the Scalloped Tulle Ribbon to the ornament. The rosette in the middle was made with satin ribbon and the tutorial can be found here. To make the ornament look pretty I added a pearl in the middle.

I'm going to make lots of these as Christmas gifts and maybe sell them too.

Thank you for stopping by!

Snowman Tags For Master Clubs

I made these little tags to go with the goody bags I put together for the little clubbers from Master Clubs. We had a Christmas party tonight for the little children. Fun games and food too. I'm so stuff right now.

I left the images not colour so the children can colour them themselves. Some of the children got so excited they coloured the tags right away. Some drew in the note books already too. Each bag has a notepad, box of crayons and chocolate loonies (Canadian dollars).

Thank you for stopping by.

Merry Christmas!

Tag Reindeer

Isn't this little reindeer cute? It is made with 2 tags, joined together on the sides, from the Two Tags Die. I can't take credit for this. Someone made this little reindeer in an easel card. I made mine into an ornament to hang on a tree.

The eyes are made with two 1/2" circles and two glimmer brads. The nose is a corduroy brad that I had for awhile now and it is perfect for the nose. I punch holes at the top of the tags and string a baker's twin through the holes for hanging. Add 2 tiny candy cane for antlers.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Altered Gum Tins

Happy Monday everyone! I altered a few of these gum tins over the weekend. I'll be altering a lot more of these this coming week. My brother gave me a box of these tins many years ago. I move them with me to every house I move too. I could never think of what to do with them until now. They were filled with gum that tastes okay but they stick to your teeth. I emptied them and will be filling them with other kind of treats. These alter tins will be for my sisters to give away this year. I made Christmas favours for them every year to give away. They always enjoyed them and of course the recipient love them too.

I measured the tin to get the measurements so I can cover it with Designer Series Paper. I used all the retired papers I have on hand for these tins. I die cut the snowflakes using the Northern Frost Die. Such a nice snowflakes die. The little flowers are made using the Trio Flower Punch. I punch a hole on each side of the tin with a Crop-a-dile. So easy with the Crop-a-dile. I don't have to drill holes anymore. Yay! These tins can also be hang on a Christmas tree as ornaments. Now I'm off to finish altering the tins.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Christmas Bird House

Good day everyone. It has been 2 weeks since I've create anything. Life has been busy around here.
Here is a bird house I made awhile ago and finally decorate it. I wanted to put lots and lots of snowflakes and flowers on this bird house but I have to contain myself. I used the Northern Frost Die for the snowflakes.

I top off the bird house with snowflakes and ribbon. I used the seam binding ribbon and loop the ribbon a few times to get the full puffy look. Love this ribbon. The lid of the bird house opens up and you can put treats in it. Makes great Christmas gift. Wrap it with a cellophane and tie it with a ribbon.

I sponged the snowflakes with Crumb Cake ink. The flowers are made using the Trio Flower punch (retired).

Thank you for visiting today!

Christmas Can

Hello, everyone! Happy Tuesday. It is so cold here these couple of days but I'm glad it is sunny today. We had snow on the weekend and then it was gone. We don't get much snow here in Vancouver so when it snows it is a treat. To me it is but not so much for people who goes to work.

Here is a small paint can I picked up at the dollar store. I dressed it up with the Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper and then added the Tinsel Trim to the can. I used the Flower Folds bigz die and cut the Deck The Halls Designer Fabrics to make the flower. I put a Deck The Halls Designer Buttons in the middle of the flower and tied the button with the bakers twine to add a nice touch to the flower.

Thank you for stopping by!

Christmas Matchbox

Here a matchbox I made with the Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper. I made the flower behind the tag from the Deck the Halls Designer Fabric. I used the left overs from another project I made for my two daughters.

I filled the box with the York mint patty. You can fill the box with anything you want. It is a wonderful little box favours. I wanted to make tags like the one shown in the Holiday Mini Catalogue p.25. I don't have that set so I could not do it. I'll have to search for my old tag set but after I moved my stamping room I'm not sure where I put it now. sigh!

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Candy Cane Holder

Happy Friday, everyone! I'm glad it is Friday even though it is gloomy outside. I have been busy crocheting a lot of little hats for little girls and now I'm crocheting for adults too. I'll be crocheting for my nieces for Christmas when I'm done with all the orders.

Here is a Christmas version of the cutlery holder I made for the fall for my church Nursery Meeting. You can view it here.

I tied candy canes with Baker's twine put them inside the pocket but you can put anything you want in this holder. I got this twine from a good friend a couple of years ago and never know what to do with it until now. I punched a hole at the top so that I can hang it on a Christmas tree.
I did the ruffling look on the ribbon. I used the taffeta ribbon, fray one end, take a strand of thread and pull to ruffle it. I didn't realized I used the colours of the American flag to make this holder until I finished the project. lol

Thank you for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Make n' Take From the Customer Appreciation Christmas Party

Happy Monday, everyone! We had a great Christmas Cantata at our church last night. Many came out to hear the choir and the children sing. I'll put a link here when the video is upload on our church website. My son, Jarod, sang solo in the cantata. I'm so proud of him! He did a great job but boy was he nervous (that's what he said). I sure don't notice and so are others.

Here are the make n' takes we did on Friday night's party.

Isn't this beautiful little box. It uses the Scallop Square Die. A little drawer to put candies, chocolates, jeweleries or anything small enough to fit in there. There is even a card on top of the box! This is such an amazing box!

Here is how it looks like open up.

Here is the other project we did. A picture frame. I did mine of a church with all those glitters on it.
We did a "rock n' roll" technique on the snowflake. It is so pretty!

Well, that's all for now! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

We got snow yesterday afternoon and the kids are having fun playing with less than 10 cm of snow on the ground today. They get excited even if there is so little snow.

Happy stamping!

Another Top Note Gift Card Holder

Happy Friday, stampers! The Christmas Cards Class is tonight. I think it'll be fun trying to make 30 cards. I'm hoping everyone can finish in time. I'm kinda iffy right now. Never have a class making 30 cards before and it'll be a challenge. I'll let you know how it goes.

Anyway, here is another Top Note Die gift card holder. This time I use snowflakes stamp. Yes, another project with the snowflakes. lol What can I say! I love snowflakes!

Hope you all have a great day and thank you for visiting!

For the Piano Teacher

This gift and card is for Jarod's piano teacher. I tried to match the card with the wrapping paper. What do you think. Is it close enough?

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! Hope everyone are almost done with their Christmas shopping. I have a few more to buy. It'll be crazy shopping at this time in the mall.

Gift Tags

I made some gift tags to put on the gift this Christmas. I usually just write the names on the box and never dress them up. This year will be different.

Craft Class

Tonight is the Ladies' Craft Night at my church and we're making Christmas ornaments. Those boxes that says "Merry Christmas", I cased it from Stampin' Success (demo monthly magazine). Very neat and you can put stuff in them. I punched the top of the box and put a silver cord through it. You can hang them to the tree or put them on the mantel.

Have a great weekend!

More Holiday Idea

Another gift idea. It is great for stocking stuffer. These are packages called Snowman Soup filled with a pack of hot chocolate, marshmallows, a candy can and some Hershey kisses in a cello bag. Notice the blue Hershey kisses? They are coconut kisses and they're yummy. I tried them at a friend's wedding in the summer. I'm not a fan of Hershey kisses but this one I got to have. lol I bought them at Walmart.

This is the back view of the package. Click on the photo for the poem.
