All the best to all my blog visitors. Have a fun a safe new year.

My family and I went on a free sky train and sea bus on New Year's Eve. It was fun but tiring. The kids went to sleep right away when we got home and couldn't stay up for the new year count down.

Time Well Spent

I finally got to play with my free "Time Well Spent" set that SU sent to all the demonstrators.
It didn't take long to do this card. I used the designer paper for the bottom half for background. Then I stamped the flower, coloured it and cut it out. Put a rhinestone in the middle and mounted the flower on the card with dimensional. The rest of the card is pretty much self explanatory.

Happy Stamping!

Jesus Is The Reason For The Season

Hello everyone. I hope you all a very Merry Christmas.

I like to share with you a song that I like. And this is the reason we celebrate Christmas.

He came to pay a debt He didn't owe because we owed a debt we couldn't pay.

I'm Glad I Know Who Jesus Is

by Geron Davis

In a little town called Bethlehem so many years ago,
They told Him there was no room in the inn;
But the had no way of knowing that they had turned away
The Lamb of God Who would take away their sins.

So many people still today don't know who Jesus is,
They've never felt His peace within their soul;
But I want my life to show them how His love can set them free;
He's the only One Who can cleanse and make them whole.

He's the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End,
He's a Counselor, Deliverer to me;
He the Everlasting Father, He is the King of Glory;
I'm glad I know who Jesus is! I'm glad I know who Jesus is!

I'm glad I know who Jesus is! I'm glad I know who Jesus is!
He's more than just a story, He is the King of Glory;
I'm glad I know who Jesus is!

Thanks for visiting my blog!

More Holiday Idea

Another gift idea. It is great for stocking stuffer. These are packages called Snowman Soup filled with a pack of hot chocolate, marshmallows, a candy can and some Hershey kisses in a cello bag. Notice the blue Hershey kisses? They are coconut kisses and they're yummy. I tried them at a friend's wedding in the summer. I'm not a fan of Hershey kisses but this one I got to have. lol I bought them at Walmart.

This is the back view of the package. Click on the photo for the poem.

Another Holiday gift idea. This bag is great for little note cards, gift cards or anything small enough to fit in here. This uses a 12x12 Designer Paper (I used Dashing) to make. For instruction on how to make this click here

This is the side view of the bag.

Fast 3"x3" Note Card

This is a 3"x3" note card. I used a marker to coloured part of stamp from the Lovely As A Tree set then I coloured the trees in with a blender pen to give it an Autumn look. The card base is a textured paper that is available in 48 of Stampin'Up! colours and the 6 new In Colour. They are very nice textured. The "thank you" was from the Party Punch. I punched out a 3/4" circle put a leaf on it and mounted it with dimensional.

Sorry, For Being Absent For So Long

Thanks for your patience and not leaving me. I have not post for awhile.

I've just moved to a new place again. We are living in a townhouse with three bedrooms. It is a very nice place by the Fraser River. We're half way settle and I got to stamp. Yay! I made some fast card samples for one of my customer. She is stumped this year for Christmas card. I'll post those cards after I show her and when she return them to me. It was quite last minute.

Thanks for stopping by.

Decorated Dixie Cup

This is a very easy project to do. First, take apart a cup then cut off the top and bottom where it was folded. Then used the cut up cup piece and trace onto a pattern paper. Next, tape the pattern paper onto another cup and decorate.

I used a Crop-a-Dile (which I got from my upline Caroline) to punch the hole through the cup and the handle. This tool can punch through metal, too. Awesome!

Can you see the beautiful brads on the punched out snowflakes. It is the new rhinestone brads SU carries. I just love them. I tied the new Satin Ribbon (available to purchase from now till the end of November) around the cup.

Materials Used:

Papers-Designer paper, chocolate chip, soft sky, blue bayou
Ink-chocolate chip

Mini Accordian Album

I made this for the open house I had back in July. I finally put the picture in.

I used a 12"x12" cardstock and cut it to 4"x12". I scored it at 4 3/4" and 9 1/2" then flip it over and scored it the same. I randomly stamped In The Spotlight along the bottom then I fold along the scored lines.

I cut two 2 1/8 " bashful blue and two pretty in pink cardstock and adhered alternately. The 10" grosgrain ribbon is for the closer. I adhered it then put a flower on top to cover to keep the ribbon a little stable for the long use.

Memory Paint Cans

I made these paint cans to give away to all the babies born this year and more to come next year. The moms can use it to store all th precious memories through the years for their child.
I put clothes and other baby stuff inside the can. If I have the time (I usually do last minute things) I would make "Thank You" cards to go with it. All the moms loved the cans.

Lovely Trees

Hello! How was your weekend? Mine was fabulous. My husband and I went to a Couple's Retreat in Downtown Vancouver hosted by Metro Baptist Church. This retreat is for couples to get away to take time to be together (especially with little ones running around where there is no quiet time to be together). This year's theme was "Falling in Love" and what a better way to show you a fall card. These trees are indeed very lovely. Fall is so beautiful with the changing colours of the leaves.

Materials Used:
Stamps-Lovely as a Tree, Party Punch
Papers-Rose Red, Hunter Green, Old Olive, Whisper White
Inks-Basic Black, Chocolate Chip, Rose Red, Only Orange, More Mustard
Accessories-Blender Pen, Tag Punch

Christmas Card

I'm love the new Supersize Snowflake and Snow Burst from the Winter Mini Catalgue which is available from Sept 1-Nov 30. It comes in a solid and a hollow snowflakes, two stamps on one block. The one with the words on it I cut it out and mount it to the end of the block. It is easier this way if I want to omit the words or do it in a different colour.

Materials Used:
Stamps-Supersize Snowflake, Snow Burst
Papers-whisper white, mellow moss, soft sky, blue bayou
Inks-blue bayou, soft sky, basic black, mellow moss
Accessories-taffeta ribbon, brads, scallop punch, colluzle cutting system, dazzling diamonds

Almost Settle At the New Home

I'm back online so here are some details on what is happening with the move.

I didn't realize how much "stuff" we had until we moved to this place. It took four truck loads to move most of the stuff and my DH goes back and forth with our van to pick up more things we didn't have time to pack for Saturday's move. We sold a lot of big furniture items and yet we still have too much and no place to put the ones we want to keep. Need to get rid of some more stuff.

I can't believe I had over 10 boxes of stamping stuff. Some of the stamps I haven't use but can't seem to part with them either. All the stamping stuff is still in boxes. They should be out maybe this Friday. Hopefully!

Blog you later.

Moving Again!

I'm moving this Saturday. I'm busy packing, baby sitting, change two babies' diapers and home schooling. Few! Busy, busy week.

We're moving into a three bedroom basement suite just a block away. Very nice place except the kitchen. It is very small. I mean very small as to when I wash dishes, no one can get to the cupboards unless I move out of the way. It is just weird designing. I'm going to miss the corner lot house. :( I'm spoil.

Thanks for visiting.

Silly Kids

Everytime I cut my stamps the kids would take the extra rubbers to play with. They usually stick them all over their arms. This time they stuck them to their faces. This was what they came up with.

Jarod's version
Faith's version

Have fun looking.
