Gift Certificate Holder

Happy Monday, everyone! It has been while since I post. Been busy preparing for my first Customer Appreciation Party, babysitting my niece and practice for the Christmas Cantata. So much to do and so little time.

Anyway, I made this gift certificate holder for a customer. I made it just like the one in Spring of this year but this one is a Christmas card. I added Dazzling Diamonds to one of the tree to highlight that one tree. Very pretty IRL.

Thank you for stopping by and I'll be back to post all the stuff from the Customer Appreciation Day!

Scallop Square Felt Gift Card Holder

Hello, everyone! Had a great time last night at the Big Shot workshop. The ladies made three projects and one I posted yesterday. The other two projects are a square card here and the Top Note gift card holder here but with Dasher stamp image.

I made this holder as a sample to what other materials they can use in the Big Shot machine.

It was a very simple holder to make. I hand stitched the two square dies together with linen thread. I really like how this turned out. This is great card holder to give to someone and they can hang it on a Christmas tree. You can also put candies or chocolates.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy today's project!

Another Top Note Gift Card Holder

Happy Friday, stampers! The Christmas Cards Class is tonight. I think it'll be fun trying to make 30 cards. I'm hoping everyone can finish in time. I'm kinda iffy right now. Never have a class making 30 cards before and it'll be a challenge. I'll let you know how it goes.

Anyway, here is another Top Note Die gift card holder. This time I use snowflakes stamp. Yes, another project with the snowflakes. lol What can I say! I love snowflakes!

Hope you all have a great day and thank you for visiting!

Top Note Gift Card Holder Tutorial

Hello, stampers! I have a tutorial for you today! A Top Note Gift Card Holder!

This is how the gift card will look like when it is done.

You'll need a 4 1/4" x 9 1/2" piece of cardstock. I use Real Red CS.

Score at 4 3/4" on the 9 1/2" side.

Fold on the score line and put it on the Top Note die just below the dotted line on the Top Note die. Run it through the Big Shot.

This is what it will look like after it is cut with the Big Shot and open up.

Line the folded line on the 3 1/2" line and cut the end off as shown above. The cut part will be the front of the gift card holder.

Sponge the edges in Chocolate Chip ink.

I sponge the back piece too.

Using a slit punch, line it up the middle at the top of the back piece, put it in as far as possible of the gift card holder and punch.

This is how it looks like after it is punched. This is where you will slip the gift card and the front of the holder through.

Use a jumbo brad to mark a placement to punch the hole. Mark it just above the punched slit.

Punch a hole using the biggest hole on the Crop-a-dile.

Use the Crop-a-dile to set the jumbo eyelet.

Put a ribbon through the brad. Decorate the front of the gift card.

Inside of the gift card holder.

This is how it look like when open.

It will be nice to hang these tags on a Christmas tree.

Hope you enjoy my tutorial. If you have any questions about the tutorial you can leave a comment here or email me at mrstam007@gmail.com.

A Little Something For You Card Holder

Happy Sunday everyone! I made this card for a customer awhile ago. She wanted a gift card to give to a friend on her birthday. So I asked DH to make a gift card on the computer for me. Well, he did a wonderful job on the gift card but there was a slight problem. Don't get me wrong I do appreciate what he did. The gift card was 4"x6" in size. I didn't want him to print another one so I made a card holder that can hold the gift card. That was how this huge gift card holder was made.

This card was 5"x7" in size.

Here is a photo of the gift card. This was one of a kind gift card holder. I don't think I'll be making another one.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Inks-basic black, regal rose
Accessories-Velcro, scallop punch, 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punch

Gift Card Holder

I would like to offer gift cards to my customers and these are the gift card holders I came up with to hold the gift card. It only uses half a sheet of 8.5"x11" cardstock, a window slot punch and a circle punch to make. And of course ribbon to tie it together. These gift card holders are so cute. Who wouldn't want one of these?
