Fifth Avenue Floral Best Wishes

I love the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set. You can do so much with this set. I stamped one of the rose during the class I did last month and it was just sitting around. I found it in a pile of scraps and made this card. I stamped another rose to add to this card. There are Dazzling Diamonds on both roses. Hope you can see them. Click on the photo to enlarge the image.

I used the leaves from the level 1 hostess set God's Beauty. I stamped the leaves twice in Basic Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock and then cut them out. Adhere them behind the roses using Tombo Multi Purpose Adhesive. The Best Wishes sentiment from the Oval All stamp set (Occasion Mini catalogue) was stamped and then mounted onto the Basic Black scallop oval piece. I used the Scallop Oval punch (also from the Occasion Mini) to punch out the scallop oval piece. Love this new Scallop Oval punch!

Thanks for stopping by and have a peek at my creation! Have a great day!

Mother's Day Card

Here is another card that uses the Flower Layers #3 die. These flowers are the left over from the previous card in the previous post.

Mother's Day is just around the corner and I'm making some cards to give to my sisters and friends. This is an easy card to mass produce.

Have great day and thanks for stopping by!

Best Wishes

I'm loving my Big Shot machine. I have so much fun making card and 3-d projects with it. I bought the Flower Layers #3 die same time with the BS machine and made this Best Wishes card. I ran a thin cardboard that my DH saved up from his former work before he got hurt and made this flower. I also ran a Riding Hood Red cardstock through the BS and then layer the small flower of cardstock onto the bigger flower of the cardboard. Cover the hole in the flower with the new Chocolate Chip Jumbo Brad. It made the flower more interesting. Doesn't this flower looks like a cookie with a jumbo chocolate chip in the middle? My DH sure think so.

I made another card with the reverse colour of the cardstock and cardboard and I'll show it in the next post.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Purple Birthday Card

Sorry, for MLA! Almost the whole family got the stomach flu except my DH. I was constantly cleaning up after my 2 yrs old and laundering. My other two children was sick too but I didn't have to clean up after them too much. Anywho, we're almost all better now. So on with the card. I made this card before my family got sick.

This card is very purply. I haven't make a card in this colour much since I became a demonstrator. I used mostly Perfect Plum and Pale Plum colours when I first started. I couldn't get enough of it. Now those colours just sits there collecting dust. I still love these two colours.

Well, gotta run! I have a class tonight and I need to set up tables.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Mother's Day Card

Mother's Day is coming up soon and I want to make some cards to give away for the mothers I know. Pink and purple are always a nice combination for a feminine card.

There are Dazzling Diamonds on the flowers and they look so pretty IRL. I use Eastern Blooms, All Holidays and Brocade Basic (retired) sets to make this card.

Thanks for stopping by and have great day!

Ice Cream Anyone?

This is a very simple card. If you are short on time to make a birthday card this is the one.

The ice cream was inspired by Angie Juda. She is such a talented lady.

To make the ice cream part you punch three scallop circles in the colour of your choice. This is a good way to use up the scraps you have laying around. Count 9 scallops on one of the scallop circle and cut the rest of the scallops off on a straight line. Use the first one you cut as a template to cut the other two scallop circles. This way you don't have to count 9 scallops and cut the rest off. For the cone you punch out a piece of cardstock with a 1 3/8" square punch. Cut two sides off from the bottom up on an angle to the top corners of the square. This make the cone shape like look. I sponge the ice cream and the cone before I assemble it together. Now you can put the ice cream on a card.

I Finally Got My Big Shot! Yay!

Yes, even a demonstrator have wish list. The Big Shot was one of the item on my wish list.

It just arrived yesterday! I open it right away and tried the dies from the Big Shot kit. I think my DH is more excited than me. He put the Big Shot together, the handle. Such hard job to do! lol DH delivers 24 Hours newspapers (local Free newspaper) at night and they throw away all these good cardboards. He saved them up and want to try it on the Big Shot. He has nothing better to cause the newspaper company let him go after he hurt his knee. He is still limping but it is getting better. Anyway, please pray for fast recovery.

I bought one extra die Flower Layers #3 and a texturz plates SU Backgrounds 1. I was too excited to order the texturz plates that I didn't pay attention that I need the silicon rubber. I can't try the texturz plates for awaile.

Anywho, I'll post a card tomorrow using the Top Note Die. Thanks for stopping by!

A Little Something For You

Happy Easter weekend, everyone! Hope you all taking time this weekend to remember our risen Saviour Jesus Christ. He died on the cross for our sins many, many years ago. Without Him we will never go to heaven. Trust in Him today. Ask Him into your heart and save you.

Onto the card. I usually don't make square cards. I like the standard A2 size card. It is easier to find envelopes for it.

I use the Yummy and the level 3 hostess Dream a Little sets for this card. The hostess set is 2 step stamping set. You can't go wrong with 2 step stamping set if you are not the type that like colouring. I'm one of them.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Congratulations Card

My SIL asked me to make some wedding cards for her to look at. Hope she likes it. I still need to make more for her to choose from.

The hearts for this card is from the Ever After set. Love this heart. The little heart is from the same stamp. I stamp the heart in Chocolate Chip ink onto Whisper White cardstock and then punch it out with a Full Heart punch. Do you think it needs a bow? I feel it is missing something. Let me know.

Thank You Rose Card

Today's card is CASED card from last year's catalogue. I love this A Rose Is a Rose stamp set. I got this set free from the contest I won last November. I'm not to fond of colouring so this set is perfect. It is a Two Step Stamping and Definitely Decorative (great for decorating your home) stamp set.

Well, a very short post today. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Carousal Notes Purse

Hello, everyone! Hope you are having a nice sunny Friday! It is very nice and warm here today. I'm glad it is spring time!

Well, I haven't stamp much lately. I'm having a creative block. Do you get that sometime? I want to create a card but when I sit down at my desk I just stare at the stamp set and cardstock. I don't like that cause I have all these new stamps from the Occasion Mini catalogue and they're not seeing ink. aahhh!

Anyway, here is a purse I made last week and I was wanting to make cards to go inside but no card to show you.

I used the Carousal Notes (retired Soft Sky) to make this purse.

Well, thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
