Simple Christmas Tags

I made little tags to go with the candy canes I gave to the little kids at church. It was supposed to be for the Master Clubs kids for the Christmas party but it got cancelled.

Here is another view of the tag. I stamped the image. punch it out with the Scallop Square punch and then mounted on the Gumball Green card stock. Very simple little tags.

Thank you for stopping by today.

More Money Evelopes

"Christmas time is rushing, rushing. Hurrying, scurrying everywhere!
Much to do no time to do it. I can't get it all done at Christmas time!"

Two weeks ago our church choir sang this song during the Christmas Musical. That's how I feel right now. I can't seem to get anything done on time. I'm so not with it this year. Normally I get my decorations up in 1 day but this year it took me 2 weeks. How terrible is that? I finally got the chance to sit down and blog. Seems like forever.

Well, I made more money envelopes and this time they are for me. I'll be making more for my other sister.

A little more kid friendly designs this time. The previous ones I made are way too fancy for kids. You can see them in the previous post.

Thank you for visiting today! Happy Holidays!

Vintage Money Envelopes

I made these envelopes for my sister. Instead of giving the kids gift cards she is going to give them money.

She wanted a vintage look envelopes so this is what I came up with.  I think it might be too fancy for the kids.

Thank you for visiting today! Have a wonderful weekend.

2013 Calendar Easel Stand

Hello, everyone! I can't believe it is December already. Time sure fly this year but I'm ready for 2013.

A friend from Hawaii sent me some little calendars for me to play with. This was what I came up with. I made an easel calendar stand. It is perfect for a desk top for your home or office. This one will be on my stamping desk and hopefully I don't lose it while stamping away. Lots of things gets buried under my pile of stuff when I create. hehe

Today I want to talk a little about a friend from church. His name is Jeff and he has Non-Hodgkins (Grey Zone) Lymphoma cancer. He just started a blog Goodman Shoes about his cancer. Please pray for him as he goes through this trial. Today he is on his 4th chemo and really appreciate it if you'll pray for him.

2" x 8-1/2" designer paper
4-1/2" x 6" Gumball Green card stock
Crumb Cake scrap card stock

8" linen thread
Trimmer with a scoring blade
or Simply Scored Scoring Tool for scoring

 1. Score all the designer paper pieces at every 1/4" as shown in the photo. Lines drawn in in the photo is for instruction purpose only.

 2. Accordion fold the designer paper pieces. Make sure the ends of the designer paper pieces are facing down. Set these aside.

3. Use a pencil and mark 2 lines at 2-1/8" and 2-3/8" on the short side of the card stock.

4. Draw 2 lines as shown in photo. This is the tree base.

5. Cut off the sides.

6. Draw curve lines on the tree base. Starting from the bottom draw a line about 1-5/8" from the bottom edge. Draw the other 4 lines decreasing 1/4" measurement. The lines doesn't need to be perfect. They will be cover up by the designer papers.

7. Starting at the bottom line first and add hot glue to it.

 10. Adhere a scrap piece of 1" x 3" Crumb Cake card stock for the tree trunk from the back.

11. Thread a linen thread through the button holes and tie a knot.

 12. Turn to the back of the button and add hot glue to the centre of the button.

 13. Adhere the button to the top of the tree with hot glue. Embellish the tree. This tree is flat on the back and it shows the Gumball Green card stock.

optional: You can make another set of the designer paper pieces and add it to the back of the tree to hide the back.

You're done! Enjoy making the tree. I love to hear from you and if you make it I love to see it too.

Birthday Treat Bag Tags

Good Friday everyone! I'm so glad it is Friday. I'm spending a night in Washington at a Couples' Retreat with my husband today. I look forward to this time to be with my husband every year. No kids around just the two of us.

I put together little treat bags filled with yummy for my 2 daughters for their birthday. One birthday yesterday and one birthday today. They are 4 years apart minus a day. This is just a little special treat I made for them to let them know how much I love them. Of course they get other things too for their birthday.

I made 2 tags using the Labels Collection Framelits and the Apothecary stamp set. Made 2 little roses and put them onto the tags. Very simple thing to make.

Thank you for visiting me today! Have a wonderful weekend!

Little Princess Invitations

Hello, everyone! Hope you are having a great week so far. This week went by so fast. My two daughters made these invitations for their birthday party this month. They stamped, colour the pictures and put the invites together all by themselves. They were ecstatic that they got to stamp. They do have their own stamps and ink to play with but they prefer my stamping toys.

They used the Little Princess stamp set and the Hugs and Wishes stamp set to make their invites. I think they did a wonderful job making the invites.

Thank you foe stopping by!

Christmas Tree Ornament

Hello, stampers! I thought I took a little time off creating for the 12 days Christmas projects to create this for you to see. I have this idea while I was making the tutorials for the event.

It didn't turn out the way I wanted it but it is still nice. I'll go into more details  or make a tutorial if anyone is interest to know how to make it. It'll be the next week or so before I can get around to it.

Thank you for stopping by!

Pink Christmas

Hello, stampers! What a week! I'm happy I got a lot housework done today. It usually takes me a couple of days to finish everything and the week starts over again. But today I got a lot done, made some cards and work my the 12 Days of Christmas Projects. It'll be fun. If you have not subscribe to my blog yet you should really do so. You'll receive FREE tutorials of the12 projects. You can't go wrong with free stuff.

I was cleaning (I'm always cleaning) yesterday and found these poinsettia all done up but not onto cards so I made some cards with it. I think these were left overs from the Ladies' Christmas Tea a few years ago. Can't remember which year. The cards are not in the traditional Christmas colours but it still looks nice. The beads on the poinsettia was adhere with Crystal Effects. Very strong stuff!

Lovely Lolly Jars

Hello, stampers! Here is a picture of Estelle. Isn't she a cutie? I love the smile! I just want to thank Annette for allowing me to post this picture of her daughter.

A few months back I made some stationary for Annette. She took some pictures of the stuff I made for her. Here is a table of all the lovely lolly jars with the labels I made. I made the labels using the Apothecary Labels Framelits Die. Those jars of lolly looks so yummy.

Look at the yummy bomboniere in a little jar. The bomboniere has Estelle's name on it. How cool is that! This jar is smaller than the ones on the lolly buffet table and they were for the guests to take home.

Close up of one of the lolly jars on the lolly buffet table. Just beautiful!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!

Mary and Jospeh Christmas Card

Happy Thursday everyone! Here is another Christmas card. I tried to make it in the olden days colour but I don't think I'm successful in doing so. I love the stamp of Mary and Joseph. Such cute little stamp. I added a jewel to the big star to make it sparkle.

Birthday Treat Box

Good day! I made this treat holder for a friend's birthday. I filled the bag with chocolate covered cookies and placed it in the treat holder. I used the box from the tutorial here. I just change the front of the box to birthday wishes instead of Christmas.

NSR: Video Of Jarod Playing The Piano

I want to share a video of Jarod playing the piano. He played this song at church during offertory. I'm so proud of him. He love this musician's arrangements and it really inspired him to practice a lot. I don't have to ask him to practice at all.

Baptism Ensemble

Hello, stampers! Happy Saturday! Today I'm showing this Baptism ensemble I made a few months back for a lady live in Australia. It was a custom order and it was an experience to communicate through emails. I made invitations, menu display cards, lollies tags for the jars and name tags. I used the Apothecary stamp set and the Framelits Label Collections to make this ensemble. This is such a pretty set.

Retirement Cards

Hello, stampers! I'm so glad it is Friday. I'm so tired this week. I helped out at church 3 days this week watching the older kids while they do school work. I makesure they are behaving. Went to a school field trip with the elementary students to a pumpkin patch. They all enjoyed it very much and was so happy they got to pick a pumpkin all of their own. So easy to please little ones.

Today I'm showing you 2 retirement cards. The above one was the original one I made. So I got all my card stock out and cut the pieces for the card. Well, when I went to assemble the card it didn't not turn out the way was suppose to be.

I ended up making this one instead. I unconsciously embossed the Chocolate Chip card stock and ended up  changing the card.

I still like the first one better but had to do with the mistake I made.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian readers! Hope you are having a wonderful thanksgiving dinner with your family. Yummy turkey, mash potatoes, corn, sweet potatoes with marshmallow on the top...mmmm. Writing this is making me hungry. It wont be until 6 more hours before we get to eat our turkey dinner.

What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? I'm thankful for a Saviour who died on the cross for my sin, my immediate family- a husband who cooks and works hard to provide for our family and not perfect but obedient kids, my extended family, friends, my blogger readers and many more. I can write a long list of things to be thankful for but I'll stop here. There are much to be thankful for.

Last week was crazy busy. I finally finished altering 11 skirts and dresses for a lady, finished the cards my sister requested a few months back and I go to school now. Ha, not the schooling you are thinking about. I don't homeschool my kids anymore but I help out at the Christian School they are attending about 2-3 days a week. No, I'm not a teacher either and glad I'm not. So lesser time for me to stamp these days. I do admire those who work everyday and still able to stamp and blog.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
