Happy Holidays

Wishing you all a blessed and safe Christmas Season! Happy Holidays! Jesus is the reason for the season.

I made a simple Christmas card this year.  I'm bless by a friend who gave me tons and tons of kraft card stock so I use it for the cards this year. Still have lots. Need to think of uses for it.

I used the new Festive Flurry snowflake. The biggest one in the set.

Update on my injury from car accident. I have constant back, neck and headache. Sometime it is hard to sit in one position. I'm becoming a wiggle worm at church services. I need to see the physiotherapy 3 times a week. I can't look down too long. It hurts to do that. I can't stamp long anymore which requires looking down a lot. Please pray for me. Not fun getting injure.

Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!

Pink Christmas

Hello, stampers! What a week! I'm happy I got a lot housework done today. It usually takes me a couple of days to finish everything and the week starts over again. But today I got a lot done, made some cards and work my the 12 Days of Christmas Projects. It'll be fun. If you have not subscribe to my blog yet you should really do so. You'll receive FREE tutorials of the12 projects. You can't go wrong with free stuff.

I was cleaning (I'm always cleaning) yesterday and found these poinsettia all done up but not onto cards so I made some cards with it. I think these were left overs from the Ladies' Christmas Tea a few years ago. Can't remember which year. The cards are not in the traditional Christmas colours but it still looks nice. The beads on the poinsettia was adhere with Crystal Effects. Very strong stuff!

Mary and Jospeh Christmas Card

Happy Thursday everyone! Here is another Christmas card. I tried to make it in the olden days colour but I don't think I'm successful in doing so. I love the stamp of Mary and Joseph. Such cute little stamp. I added a jewel to the big star to make it sparkle.

Good day everyone! I made this card using some of my favourite stamp sets. I love all of my Christmas stamps and use them a lot. Now I'm not sure where to store them all. sigh!

I used the Delight Decorations, Peaceful Wishes and Ornament Keepsake stamp sets to make this card. I added jewels to the bigger ornament to give nice touch to the card.

Colourful Christmas Card

Happy Friday, everyone! Where have summer gone to? I can't believe tomorrow is September already. Time sure fly this year.

I made a Christmas card. A very colourful one. I don't make my cards with lots of colours often but this one is so pretty with all these colours.

I stamped snowflakes on different card stock and then punch them out with a 1-1/4" circle punch. The rest of the card is pretty much self explanatory.

BTW a good blogging friend brought this to my attention. I didn't realize that people have to type in a comment code verification before they can comment. I took it off so now you can comment without any hassle. Please comment if you have any questions or like my creations. I love to hear from you. Thank you Rita for letting me know.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a nice long weekend before school starts.

Cheers Card

Hi, stampers! I made this card awhile ago. This card measures 4-1/4" x 8-1/2". Odd size card. It fits nicely into a legal size envelope.

I randomly stamped the snowflakes in VersaMark ink and then embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I sponged the card with Real Red and Certainly Celery inks. The image in the middle was done the same way. The image can be replace with a photo of your family and be a Christmas card to give to family and friends for Christmas. I just might make something like this this Christmas.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! Have a good day!

Mojo Monday 248

Hi, stampers! I finally got a chance to play in the Mojo Monday sketches. I love it that I don't have to think up a layout. I decided to make Christmas cards in July. I made two cards with the same sketch.

Here is the link to Mojo Monday 248 if you are interest in playing along too.

Snowflakes Thank Yous

How was everyone's Christmas? As always mine was a busy one. Went to the in-laws side on Christmas Eve and my side of family on Christmas day. Made my Christmas cards last minute like two weeks before Christmas. Not a good idea to do that. Note to self. Make Christmas cards earlier next year.

Here are some "thank you" cards I whip up in no time. Very easy and fast to make.

I stamped the main images using the Serene Snowflakes stamp set. I love this set so much and use it a lot. The bigger snowflake can be the main image and the small ones can be use to make background paper.

There is a rhinestone in the middle of the bigger snowflake. You can't see it in the photo too well but very pretty in real life.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Christmas Cards Stamp A Stack

Did a Christmas Cards Stamp A Stack today. I have not had any classes for a long time and it felt like I had to relearn everything.

This card was made using the Christmas Lodge stamp set from the Holiday Mini 2011.

Not sure if you can see it on the photo but there is Dazzling Diamond on the roof of the lodge.

This card was made using the Winter Post stamp set. Love this set especially the reindeer. One ladies stamp the main image using the reindeer and it was very pretty.

This card was made using the Welcome Christmas stamp set. Had to omit the little girl from the stamp image because the oval die is not big enough to fit her in it.

This card was made using the Merry & Type stamp set.

3D Trees Card

Good day everyone! I'm finally done scanning the work samples for September and October and send them to the homeschool teacher. Now I need to do the November work samples.

I did take a little break and did some stamping. I made a card.

I've finally ordered the Petite Pennants Builder Punch and I love it. At first I had no idea what to do with it so that's why it took me so long to order it. I made a 3D Christmas trees. I punched the pennants out using the Old Olive card stock, run it through the Big Shot using the Petals-a-plenty Embossing Folder to embossed the pennants and glue them together. I used three pennants punch outs for each tree. The trunks was made by punching 2 Chocolate Chip card stock using the Word Window Punch. Everything is fast with punches. My favourite tool.

Canadian Only Christmas Cards Swap

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Remembrance Day long weekend. I sure did. We had a birthday party for our 2 daughters. One turning 9 tomorrow and the other turning 5 on Wednesday.

I made this card for the Canadian Demonstrator Only Swap. I joined 2 groups so I made two different designs using the Merry & Type  stamp set. Here is the first one.

There was a lot of colouring on both cards. I made 5 each for each design.

Here is the second design I made. I used the Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper for both designs.

For this card I added Crystal Effect on the ornaments. Not sure if you can see it in the photo.

I'll show you the swaps I got back in another post so this post wont be too long. They are all very awesome cards.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Christmas Bell

Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Day on Monday.

Here is another Christmas to add to my Christmas stash. This card measures 4-1/4" x 4-1/4". Not my usual card size that I make. I stamped the images onto a Whisper White card stock and then embossed it with a psychedelic embossing powder. This embossing powder works well with images that has lots of colours. You can see it on the bell and bow. IRL  it is very pretty when it is move around in the light.

Winter Post Couple

Happy Wednesday everyone! Good day.

I made this card using the Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge 223. I used the Winter Post stamp set to make the card. I randomly stamped the Pretty Ink Pink card stock with the different stamps from that set. Then embossed it using the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder.  The embossing made the images not showing much. Not what I was looking for but it look good anyway.

The little flower was made using the Boho Blossoms punch. I punched four of the biggest flowers out of Elegant Eggplant card stock, curled the edges and fasten them with a brad. Easy pissy flower to make.

Dasher Holiday Centre Step Card

Hello, there! How about a Christmas card? I know. It's still early to think about Christmas. I do want to make lots this year early so I'll have them ready to give out when Christmas comes around. I didn't give out any last year and I wasn't going to give a store bought cards either. It's just not the same anymore after I learn to make greeting cards.

This is a center step card. It folds down and you can put it in an envelope. I used a piercing tool to pierce the circle around Dasher. For the scallop circle I used a 1/16" hole punch to punch around it.

I added felt snowflakes at the top and bottom of the card. This really made the card stands out.

I'm going to link this card to So Shelli Christmas Card Creative Challenge.

Thank you for visiting today!

Supplies:
stamps- Dasher, Occasional Quotes (hostess set)
papers- real red, chocolate chip, old olive

accessories- felt snowflakes, rhinestone brads, 1/8" grosgrain ribbon, 1-3/4" and 2-1/2"  circle punches, 2-3/8" scallop circle punch, 3" circle die, Big Shot die cutting machine

Christmas Card in July

Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday!

My first Christmas card of the year. Isn't weird to be making Christmas card in July? Oh, but Christmas will be here before you know it. I'm going to build my stash of Christmas cards early this year . Last year it crept up on me unnoticed and I didn't have many cards to give to friends and family. It is kind of hard to think of Christmas when it is so warm outside so I made a very simple one to start my mojo going.

So has anyone else start making their Christmas cards yet? I would love to hear about it.

Thank you for stopping today! Have a nice day!

Supplies:
stamp-Welcome Christmas, French Foliage
papers-chocolate chip, crumb cake, ruby red, whisper white, DSP
inks-chocolate chip, garden green, ruby red, crumb cake
accessories-brad, felt snowflakes

Season's Greetings Card

Happy Tuesday, everyone! I was able to make a card to show you. I used the Bells and Boughs stamp set. Very nice set but that means I have to do some colouring. I coloured the poinsettias in with the markers. I used Real Red and Pretty in Pink markers for the flowers and Garden Green for the pines. Did the Top Note die and the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder for the background paper that goes behind the poinsettias. Randomly stamped the card front with the hollies in Crumb Cake ink to give it a soft look.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

I added Dazzling Diamonds on the Christmas tree for some glittering.

Ornament Cards

Happy Monday, everyone! I had a fun and busy weekend. Did a Christmas Cantata at church yesterday and it was a great turnout. The auditorium was full. The theme this year for the cantata was "The King Of Love." Wonderful message in the songs we sang. Jesus is the reason for the season. He came to this earth long time ago to die on the cross for our sins. The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ.

Here are two ornament cards I made using the Circle Scallop die and the Petals a Plenty Embossing Folder. The stamp set is the Welcome Christmas found in the Idea Book and Catalogue.

Thanks for visiting today! Have a wonderful day!
