Butterfly Wedding Card

A monochromatic wedding card for a couple getting marry. The bride favourite colour is green so this is the card I made for them.

I died cut the heart using 2 hearts from the Hearts Collection Framelits Die. I put the small heart in the middle of the bigger heart and cut them out at the same time.

The butterfly was from the Simple Friendship stamp set. I was debating if I should have 2 butterflies on this card but I ended up leaving it the way it is. I love the line of pearls at the bottom of the card. Hope calls them doggy paws. If you cut the big pearl with some small pearls that's what you'll get. She's funny. She sees things that no one sees.

60th Birthday Gift

This past weekend was a friend's 60th birthday. I made a masculine frame art for him.

I love the The Open Sea stamp set. I use it a lot. I wish Stampin'Up! still sell the Nautical Expedition DSP. I'm running out soon.

I made the inside to match the frame. It was the perfect frame for an ocean theme.

Bicycle Birthday Card

Hello stampers! I didn't do much this past long weekend. Stayed home most of the time. I did cross the border to pick up a package and went to the beach in Point Roberts. My little girl loves the beach so we took her there to pick up some shells. She was happy when she found one all on her own.

I made a masculine birthday card. I love the antique bicycle. I saw people riding this bicycle when my husband and I was at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic, Connecticut. It was cool and I was in awe how they could ride such bicycle.

Easter Bunny Basket

Hello stampers! I was on YouTube yesterday and came across a video by Connie Stewart. I love the basket she made so I went and made one myself using her instructions.

This basket was made using one sheet of 8-1/2" x 11" card stock . Not much waste of paper here. That's a good thing.

A "how to" video can be found on YouTube. Isn't this the cutest bunny ever? It was made from punches and a Holiday Ornaments Die. Love it! I sponged every punched out pieces in Crumb Cake ink to give the bunny some dimension. I didn't have anything fluffy for the tail so I added a cream rosette Vintage Flower for it instead.

I might make these for my kids to collect Easter treats that we will be hiding around the house during Easter. You'll never how the weather will be here in Vancouver (rains a lot) so doing it inside the house it safer.

Here is a card I made with friends few weeks ago. I forgot to post it. My friends and I had a fun time stamping together. It was their first time so it was like having a stamping class with them. I used the Elements of Style stamp set for the images. I did the roses in blue. My favourite colour. One of my friends prefer her's in pink or red.

Valentine Hearts With Lollipops

This was what Hope did for her classmates for Valentine's Day. I helped her with stamping and she assembled them.

The lollipops was taped to the back of the hearts. Something simple for Hope to do.

Valentine Candy Sticks Pretty Packaging

I bought a bag of Valentine candy sticks and made a pretty little pocket/holder for it. I used the framelit for the shape. Stamped it with a background stamp and then sponge around it.

Added ribbon and flowers to the front of the pocket/holder. It is only big enough to hold 2 candy sticks. I might make a different holder to see if I can put 4 candies in there.

Love You The Way You Are Valentine Card

Hello stampers! I didn't go out shopping or anywhere this past weekend so I did some stamping. I'm so thankful for a wonderful husband for letting me stamp. I love him to bits. I made a Valentine card. Not a fussy one. Very simple. The hearts was sewn together to give it a 3D effect. This card was made from the same thick kraft paper I used for my Christmas cards. I love it a lot. The only thing is that's the only colour it comes in but I'm not complaining. They are free papers and I love free stuff.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!

Hanging Valentine Hearts

Hello stampers! Happy New Year! I feel a lot better from the car accident. Thank you for praying for me. I don't have constant headache, neck or back pain anymore. Still have pain but I can bear little pain. Physiotherapy really helps. I still can't look down too long. Makes my neck hurt.

Since I missed creating projects for Christmas I thought I start making Valentine projects early for the new year. I took it easy making it since I'm not 100% well yet. Rest when needed.

I made hanging hearts on strings. It would be nice to hang these around the house. I die cut all the pink and red papers I have using the Hearts Collection Framelits Die.

After I die cut all the hearts I fold them in half and then sew them together. Each hearts has 6 pieces of hearts sewn together. I put three sets of hearts together and then tape them onto a string.

I sewed the hearts together instead of gluing them together. I want them to flutter out to make them 3D like.

Top view of the sewn hearts.

These are the little hearts at the bottom of each heart strings. These tally ties the hanging hearts together.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy creating!

Christmas Snowflake Gift Tags

Hello stampers! Time sure fly by fast. It is Christmas already. Hope you got all your shopping done. One year I didn't and had to shop on Christmas Eve. The mall was so busy. It was not a good idea at all.

I was asked to make some gift tags for the treats for the Christian School kids. This was what I made, a snowflake ones. The kids did a wonderful job performing the Christmas play on Sunday night and each one of them received a yummy treat bag for their job well done.

I stamped the snowflakes using the Festive Flurry stamp set and then die cut them using the Festive Flurry Framelits Dies. I put a blue rhinestone in the middle of each snowflakes. The sentiment is from the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set and then was punched out using the Word Window punch. The snowflakes were nicely tied to the bags. All the kids love it, the treats I mean.

Happy Holidays! Thank you for stopping by!

Festive Flurry Snowflake

Good day! Finally, I was able to make the snowflake that I want to make for the longest time when I first saw the Festive Flurry stamp set and the matching framelit die this past weekend. I was in pain from the car accident on Thursday and wanted to keep the pain off my mind so I made a snowflake. Took me awhile to finished the snowflake though. Not easy to do things when you are in pain. A lady cut into our lane when she turned left and hit the front of our car. We were stop at the stop sign waiting to turn right to go to Michael's. I was the passenger and my husband was the driver. He seems to be ok. I was glad our kids wasn't with us. God is good! He protected us.

Anyway, onto the snowflake. I added blue rhinestones to the each points of the snowflakes. Gotta have some bling to the snowflake.

I'm going to make a different one using embossing powder. Can't wait ti make it.

Little Pumpkin Baby Shower

Thought some of you might like to see the decorations from the baby shower. The theme was Our Little Pumpkin'. I wasn't in charge of decorating this time. This was the gifts table area.

Food table. I took the picture before there was food on it.

Centre piece for the guests tables.

Wreathe with hanging pumpkins.

A tree made out of foam.

Hanging pumpkins made out of paper lanterns.

A pumpkin cake. A lady at church made this. It was so cute. See the baby on top of the cake and little mushrooms at the bottom around the cake? So cute!

Close up of the baby. I think it was made out of fondant.

Pumpkin baby.

Pumpkin baby in a tutu. A lady made it for the baby.

Here a another picture of the scrapbook/guest book I made. You can see the inside of the book here.

Thank you for stopping by! Hope you enjoy looking at the baby shower decorations! Happy creating!

Baby Ella Mae's Baby Shower

I went to a baby shower last night but baby is not born yet. I always find it weird to go to a baby shower with no baby. I made a scrapbook/guest book for the baby. I made a blanket and hat also but it doesn't match the book. The book match the colour of the baby's room.

I made 12 pages for putting pictures of baby's first year.

I die cut 3 different colours 4 of each card stockfor putting pictures in. The guest could sign around it.

The book was attached by 2 binder rings. I covered the holes with one of the Apothecary Accents framelits. Added ribbons to the rings to make them look pretty.

Thought some of you might like to see the shower decorations so I'll post some pictures from the shower on the next post. If you like to see the blanket and hat up close and individually you can see it here.

Sharing In Your Sorrow Card

Hi, stampers! While I was on my vacation my Pastor's dad passed away. Pastor told us that he was given a special funeral service because he served in the marine when is was young. I think that was awesome.

I made this card for my Pastor for condolence. I have not stamp for awhile and was rusty at making this card. I was stuck on ideas. Hopefully once my kids go back to school I'll have more time to stamp  and get my mojo back.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Crochet Flowers With Matching Box

I made a cute little for putting the crocheted flowers in.

Here's a close up of a paper flower I made using the Floral Frames Framelits. I cut 3 out and stacked them together to form a 3D flower.

The ribbon holds the box together. It is not attach to the box so it can be easily slide in and out.

I crocheted 2 roses for my friend. One pink and one red. I know she likes red but not too sure about the pink colour. They look good together in the box though.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! Happy Stamping!
