Hello, everyone! No church this morning due to snow so here is a Sunday post for ya'll. Vancouver is NEVER ready when it snows. The city doesn't plow the streets fast enough. Sky train and buses are not running. Can't really get around even if we want to.
I live at the bottom of a hill so trying to get up the hill is not so easy. One year it snowed so bad and we tried to go places. Got stuck many times and at many places. Not going to try it this time.
Here is the altered composition book I made for my sister for attending the Regional with me. We had a great time learning and seeing new things. She love this book very much cause I made in her favourite colour.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Happy Stamping!

Bliss Altered Note Book
Happy Friday everyone! I need a note book to take notes at the SU Vancouver Regional event on Saturday. It is a white note book (you can see it where the coil is) that I had for awhile and never decorate it. Finally decided to alter it.
I decorated the book with my favourite colours. I used Baja Breeze and Crumb Cake colours.
Here is a close up of the ribbon flowers I made. I gathered on one side of the ribbon with a needle and thread. I then put a pearl on each of the flower. I like how it turned out. I didn't use the pearl from SU. They were too small for my flowers.
I also altered a composition book for my sister to use at the Regional. She's not a demonstrator but she can use it to write others things she desire. I'll show you the book another day. Not quite finish.
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend. I know I will cause I'll be at the Regional having fun.

How The White Wedding Favour Box Works
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I like Mondays. It is a day that I get to relax from the busy weekends. At least once a month on Saturday there is a birthday party and church on Sundays. My weekends are always booked up.
Someone asked me how the Petal Cone die weeding favour works. So here are some picture of how the box open and close.
Here is how it looks when it is open. The flower is slide to the end of the knotted ribbon. If you don't want the knotted ribbon to show when the box is closed then put it close the opening of the box.
I put one eyelet each onto the two opening flaps (the two with the scallop around them). Ignore the hole on one of the flap. I wasn't too careful when I was Crop-a-dile the hole for the eyelet. I thread the ribbon through the two eyelets but did not tie a knot on the ribbon yet. Set this aside.
Make your flower. I used a cardboard from the DSP packaging for my flower backing. I want it to be strong enough to move along the ribbon for opening and closing the box. I used a Crop-a-dile to punched a hole in the middle of the flower. (While I was writing this I thought it would work best if I had punch two hole in the middle of the flower. This way the flower will slide along the ribbon smoother.) Thread the ribbon through hole of the flower. Next, thread the ribbon through a button. Then glue the button onto the flower.
A closer look a the top of the flower.
Hope you understand my tutorial of this box. If you have any questions just leave a comment here or email me. I'll try my best to answer you.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!

Happy birthday Bird Card
Happy Friday, everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful day!
This card was made with all the scraps I have laying around my stamping table. I have so many pieces laying around and most of the time I don't reach for them.
The bird and flower was die cut long time ago. The red Top Note die and the heart was from the Valentine treats (that I die cut it upside down) I made for my family to give away. The ribbon was from another card that didn't turn out right. I combined all of these pieces together to make a card. The only piece that was new was the Framed Tulips Textured Impression Embossing Folder cardstock on the background. I was surprised it turned out very nice. Not bad for a here and there pieces laying around. What do you think of this card?
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful weekend!

Valentine Heart Pouches
Hello stampers! Here are more Valentine projects that I made. Our church had a Valentine Banquet on Tuesday and I gave this pouch shown above to the couples who sat with us at the same table. I gave one to our Pastor and his wife too.
I used the Petal Cone Die, the Beautiful Butterflies Die and Scallop Circles #2 for this pouch. I embossed the butterflies with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I stamped the background with the Elements of Style stamp set. Added rhinestones to the pink butterfly.
This one I made for the babysitter who babysat our children. I filled each pouch with yummy candies.
Hope you enjoy these projects shown today! Thank you for visiting my blog. Have a great day!

Stampin'Up! Vancouver Regional
Hello everyone! I'm so excited! Stampin'Up! is having a Regional events here in Vancouver and I'm going to it. My sister will be joining me. I just received our name badge. It will be on February 25 and 26, 2010. I'm going to the 26th one. I'm still contemplating if I should do swapping. I have not done that for a long time and I'm not even sure what make. I only have a week to make them if I'm going to swap. Any ideas anyone? Cards or 3D projects?

Petal Blossoms Cards
Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope you all are having a good day! It is beautiful sunny day today so I was able to take nice pictures of these cards. They are all made using the Build a Blossom stamp set and the Petal Blossom punch.
This card uses the biggest petal in the stamp set and the punch.
I made this one yellow using the next big blossom stamp and punch size.
Three little blossoms for this card. I love this size of the stamp and punch.
This last card is a different look of blossoms. It uses the biggest blossom and the smallest blossom. I like how it turned out. Not very creative with punches other than what it is use for. I see a lot of people create animals and critters and other cool things with Stampin'Up! punches. I can't think outside of the box.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Hope you are all having a great day!
I tried to make heart shape pancakes for my DH when he came home for lunch. What do you think of them? Not sure if there is an easy way to make it shape nicer. But DH loved it anyway.
He surprised me with a lovely bouquet of flowers this morning and they are white. Not the traditional red ones he usually gave me. I love the flowers very much. Something different than red ones all the time.
Thank you fro stopping by and have a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Heart Basket Tutorial
Hello, stampers! Happy Friday! Here is a tutorial for the heart basket.
You'll need two pieces of cardstock of the Petal Cone Die. Here, I used Crumb Cake cs.
Use a ruler and pencil and mark 2" up for the two outside lines and 1-7/8" for the middle line. I used a pen so you can see it. Next, mark 1" up from bottom for all the lines. Draw a line across the bottom markings if it helps you to cut straight. Do this step to both cardstock pieces.
Score the top markings. The shaded area is where you'll cut it off.
After the shaded area is cut off cut the middle line up to the marking.
Place the two die pieces one at a time and emboss with the emboss folder of your choice. I used Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.
Add sticky strips at the bottom flaps and to the two side panels as shown above. Stick the sides together first. The flap you can't see the sticky strip in the photo will be the last flap you stick the bottom together. Now you are done with the basket.
I sponge mine before decorating.
Decorate as desire. I borrow the treats from the other basket.
Now is your turn to make one. I would like to post your creation. Send me the picture of your basket and I'll post it on here for everyone to see.
Thank you for stopping by! If you have any questions about the tutorial just leave me a comment and I'll answer you with my best knowledge.

Valentine Heart Baskets and My Health
Hi, everyone! I have not post for awhile. My kids and I were sick at different times so that keeps me from stamping. I'm glad we're all better now. I also had 4 baby shower gifts I had to make. I made 4 paint cans for the babies. I will not post them cause I posted so many of those baby paint cans on my blog. You can go to the 3D label section if you want to see them.
I went to see the doctor in the beginning of January. I told my doctor that my heart was pumping so hard during the the Christmas holidays. It happened two times and it was hard to breath. He sent me to get a blood test and the results came back that I'm anemic. That sure explains me being so tire all the time especially last year when I didn't stamp so much. I have been taking iron supplements for two weeks now. In March I'll go for another blood test to see if the iron pills work for me. Anyway, now that is said how about some stamping stuff.
Are you looking for Valentine ideas? Here are two heart baskets made from the Petal Cone Bigz L Die. I embossed them with the Perfect Polka Dots and the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folders. Gotta love those embossing folders.
I added the Build a Blossom flower to this basket.
I added ribbon rosettes to this basket. I made the rosettes from satin ribbons. Satin is harder to work with because they are so slippery. I used to make tons and tons of these rosettes for weddings. I used a stiffer ribbon for it.
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!
