Another Cute Easter Pouch

Isn't this cute? It is a shape of an egg. I used the largest oval Coluzzle to cut out the egg shape. I used A Good Egg stamp set again for this project. I just love this little chick.

Easter Eggs Pouch and a Matching Card

Hello, everyone! Here is an Easter Eggs pouch and a matching Easter card. I made the pouch myself. It holds two mini chocolate Easter eggs. Isn't the little chick adorable? I love this A Good Egg stamp set. The chick is sooo cute! I stamped the half egg shell onto a DSP, cut it out and adhere to the plain half egg shell. It is so quick and nicer than if I coloured the egg shell. I wanted the chick to have a very subtle yellow look so I coloured the chick using a blender pen and with So Saffron ink. The rest of the card and pouch is pretty much self explanatory.

Close up of the closed pouch. I used a 3 1/4" x 11" cardstock and scored it at 1 1/2", 2 1/4", 4 3/4", 6 1/4", 8 3/4" and 9 1/2".

Inside of the pouch. I cut a 3 1/4" x 3 1/2" piece of cardstock and scored on the 3 1/2" side at 1/2", 1 1/2" and 3". I used the 1 1/4" circle punch to punched the two holes for the eggs to sit in. Then I adhere it to the pouch. Hope this helps if you want to make one. If not you can email me for more details.

Here is the template. It is not the greatest quality. I don't know how to do it on computer. The bottom and the top that have no lines is the edge of the paper.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! Love to hear what you think of this Easter pouch.

Gift Set

I made this awhile ago and never got posted. I made this just to have around so when I need a fast gift I'll have it.

There are 4 standard cards, mini note cards and four tags. I used the Bella Rose DSP for the cards and tags. Each item have a flower from the Heartfelt Thanks stamp set. I love this set and I'll never get rid of it.

Now I just need to think of a way to package this. I'll probably put it in a cello bag and put a topper on it. I'm not sure yet.

Hello, everyone! Sorry, for the lack of post. Been spending time with my kids during Spring Break and trying finish sending work samples to the teacher. It is all done now so I'm so relief.

Onto the cards. I made more birthday cards using the Botanical Blooms. Of all the SAB sets I like the one the most. I guess you can tell. I use it a lot.

Wedding Planner Folder

Here you go, Rita! You were wondering what this was in the back of the table at the Bridal Showcase. It is a wedding organizer! I think this is perfect for your daughter, Rita. Not a very big one like those one out there. It is good for keeping receipts, appointments dates, budgets and other thing you want to put in this little folder. It is small enough to carry it around and very elegant looking one too.

I used two elastic cords to close the folder. You can also use Velcros for closers.

Inside of the folder.

A close up of the inside. This is a Papertrey Ink template. It was meant for a recipe folder. I changed the template a just little. The pockets that holds the recipe cards are flat. I added a 1/4" space in between of the pockets so I can put more in each slot. I left the two outer pockets flat. This makes the folder close better.

Hope you enjoy looking at this project as much as enjoyed making it!

Cards Gift Bag

I made this gift bag filled with cards for a friend's birthday today but ended up giving her something else instead. I used the bag from a gift I received for my birthday and kept for a project like this one. The bag came flat so I scored 1" all three sides, opened and make it into a bag and taped the bottom down. I taped Riding Hood Red cardstock to the back and front of the bag and decorated the front. I punched four tags with the tag punch and used them for the handles. Cut slits in the middle and thread ribbons through for handles. Fasten the handles with brads to secure them.

Here is a side view of the gift bag.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Congratulations Eastern Blooms

I have not been stamping much but here is the gable box and a matching card to go with it. I used the Eastern Blooms set and the Congrats SAB set for the card. You can't really see it but the flowers are embossed. I love Pale Plum and Perfect Plum colours together. They go good together. I used a 5/8" chocolate chip ribbons to tie the top of the box and made a big bow for the card. Also, a ribbon aross the bottom of the card.

Here is a close up of the card. I used glue dot for the bow. The flower are mounted onto the card with dimensionals.

This gable box is pretty roomy to put whatever treats you like in there. Chocolates is always good.

Male Birthday Card

I needed to make male birthday cards to give to the men at church. So far I made 45. Wow! That's a lot of work with all the layering. Not very easy to make cards for men especially most of my stamps are flowers.

I really like how this one turned out.

Hope you had a great day! It snowed here today and that's weird for Vancouver. My kids love it though. They had a great time playing in the snow.

So Glad We're Friends

Very simple but yet elegant card. To get the lines I simply put it on the cutter and scored it at 1/4" and 1/2" on all for sides. Next, I punched out the heart with the Full Heart punch. Stamped the heart from the SAB Polka Dot Punches set, cut it out and adhere to the inside of the card. Probably took me 5 minutes or less to make this one.

Little Girl Loves Her Teddy

Do you remember this image? It was an image sent by Rita and I finally have time to make a card with it. What do you think? How is my coloring? I'll admit I'm not very good at coloring.

Thanks Rita for the stamped images!

A Little Something for You

Just a card using the SAB Polka Dot Punches set and the Yummy set. I stamped three heart in Real Red ink onto Whisper White cardstock and then cut them out. I punched out three hearts in Basic Black cardstock and then mounted the three stamped heart onto the them. For the sentiment I stamped only the "a little something for you" from the Yummy set, cut it out and mounted it onto the Real Red cardstock. The rest is pretty much self explainitory.
