NSR: Crocheted Hats

Happy Saturday, everyone! I have a non stamping related post today for you. I crocheted these hats for my daughters and they wore them to church. I could never have guessed what happened next. People started to order these hats! It takes about two hours to crochet one. This is what is keeping me busy these days. Not many hours left in the day to do any stamping.

My husband and I went to a Couple's Retreat in Sumas, WA. last week. It sure was windy there. We both didn't have hats so I crocheted a matching colour (not style) hats for my husband and for myself to keep warm. I made a new style for myself. It looks a little like the one my daughters are wearing in the pics but it a little different. I wore it around Costco after the retreat and the ladies from my church saw me with the hat and now they all want one. Wow! Now I'm so busy crocheting hats. I might go crazy by the time Christmas comes around. Just kidding. I love to crochet so I'll never get bored of it.

Thank you for stopping by.

ETA: Sorry, I don't have a pattern for this hat. I copied a hat that I saw. Seriously, I don't even know how to read a crocheting pattern. Too confusing or maybe to lazy to learn. lol

They are beautiful, both your daughters and the hats. Love the flowers, it added a nice touch. I might try this.

So cute! I'm glad you got lots of orders to make them - every little bit helps, doesn't it!

I am the same. I don't know how to read those crochet patterns. It seems like they are written in another language. If I see it, I can do it!

May I ask what size hook you used and how many rows you crocheted before you did the groups of stitches. These are the cutest ones I've seen, and I've been searching the web for patterns for days-that's how I found you!
