World Card Making Day
I'm having a World Card Making Day this Saturday from 1-4 pm. Come and celebrate the creativity of handcrafted cards and the personal connection that they forge between friends and family. You can make as many cards as you like for $1 per card excluding envelopes. How cool is that! Can't beat that kind of deal! Bring your choice of adhesive and scissor.
Celebrated the first Saturday in October, World Card Making Day endeavors to bring together card makers around the world at a time that is traditionally the busiest time of year for card- and gift-making.
Stampin’ Up! is excited to celebrate this holiday with you by offering 20 percent off Simply Sent card kits and Simply Sent Card Elements. Picture above is one of the kits and you can find more on pages 176-177 of the Fall-Winter Idea Book & Catalogue.
Please RSVP if you plan to come. I'm in the Vancouver area. We'll have a fun time of stamping!
Have a great day!

One Sheet Wonder
I made these cards awhile ago and forgot to post it. This is a One Sheet wonder cards. I used the Paint Prints (retired) set. First, I randomly stamped all over a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" whisper white card stock to make pattern paper. I cut the paper into quarters after stamping then cut some more from the quarter sheets. I was able to get 8 different looks out of one sheet of card stock. I tape them onto So Saffron card stock and made them all Thank You cards.

Double Pocket Bag
Hi, Stampers!
Here is a double pocket bag I made last week and finally get to post. I made two different 4"x4" cards to go in the bag. Aren't these cards and the bag cute?
I used the new 12"x12" Ski Slope DSP from the Holiday Mini Catalogue to make the bag. You can find the directions for the bag on SCS. I got the idea from Dawn Griffith of using the jumbo eyelets to get the ribbon on the bag.
These cards was made from the Home for Christmas stamp set from the mini catalogue.
These card was made using the new Little Felt Flurries also from the mini catalogue. These felt are new to me and I wasn't sure how to glue it to the paper. I used 2 Way Glue for this. I had to let them dry before handling them. I'm sure there is a better way to glue these?
Thanks for visiting! Have a great day!

There are so many styles you can do with all SU products.
Hope you like all these bracelets as much as I like making them.

Mary and Joseph Christmas Card
A customer made this and I thought it was cute. She made this at the Ladies Craft Night. It was initially a card of a cardinal and she thought it was too serious so she stamp Mary and Joseph instead. Isn't it cute?

3x3 Cards With Matching Box
Aren't this box and the 3x3 cards cute? They're all brand new products from the Fall-Winter Catalogue. Well, except the ribbon but other wise they are all new. I love the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper. It is so beautiful but I think I told you this before. hehehe The stamp set is the Dream du Jour. Did you see the scallop edge on the box? I use the new scallop edge punch to punch the edges. You can use the corner rounder punch but it takes longer to punch around the edges.
edit to add: you can find the pattern and instructions for this box on SCS under resources.
I need a lesson on taking pictures with my DH's camera. I have no idea how to use it. This picture is kind of off to one side. But the picture is clearer and that is a good thing. I sound like Martha Steward. lol

O Chirstmas Tree
Very simple card. The tree stamp is from the level 2 hostess stamp set. I love this stamp and uses a lot. The snowflakes are from the Snow Burst stamp set.
Had a great Korean barbecue today and it was yummy. Did some watching of the photos from our friend's vacation to Orcas Island. I heard it is nice there. Some day we'll go there and visit.

For a Friend
Today is my friend's surprise birthday party. I made this gift set for her. It is a file box card holder. There are eight "Thank You" cards inside this box .
I also did the decorating. I made banners and some favours for the party. The theme was a beach theme and it was hard to find beach stuff at this time of season. What was I thinking. Oh! Well!
Here are the mini pillow boxes filled with two chocolates each
Here are the banners. I got my DH to print out the letters with the pictures of the shells he took during our summer vacation and then I cut the them out. I mounted the letters on black paper. I forgot to take a close up of the banners.
We decorated the balcony with beach towels and paper flip flops along the rials. There were sand toys with no sand on the table.
It was a fun party. It was supposed to be for ladies only party but ended up with the men and children there , too. I think that made it fun. Donna was surprised.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DONNA!

Purply Thanks
A friend asked me to make her a special thank you card for her. She loves purple so this was what I came up with. Her son got leukemia and so when someone donates money in her son's name she want to thank them.
Had a long baby shower tonight. And guess what? I made the memory paint for the baby. Just like for all the other babies. The mom and guesses just loved it. This paint can was such a challenge this time around. Normally it took me 2 hours to make the paint can and stuff to go inside but this time it took 2 days. Two whole days. Can you believe that? I even forgot to take a picture of the projects. (upside down smile insert here)
Thanks for stopping by! Have a good night!

Blooming Happy Birthday
This card was made with all the new In Color papers and inks. Don't you just love these new colors? They are gorgeous in real life.
I used the blender to color the flower. I did paper piercing at the top and bottom corner and it made the card looked a lot better. I also sponge around the main image and the sentiment.
Close up of the card. I put dimensional to one of the petal to make it 3D.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Blooming For You
Today is first day of school. That means sleeping early and lest time for stamping.
This card used the Blooming Beautiful stamp set and the sentiment was from the One of a Kind stamp set. The background paper is from the Bella Rose Designer paper. I love designer papers. They add a nice look to the background of the card. I coloured the flower with SU markers. I don't do a lot of colouring cause I'm horrible at colouring. But this one is pretty good I think.

Scallop Sunflower
Hi stampers! Isn't this card cute? The flowers are made from the scallop punch and the circle punch. Isn't it cool. I love Stampin'Up!'s punches. You can do so much with them.
I tape the circle piece onto the scallop first then snip all around the scallop towards the middle.
I have not use the Crimper for a long time and this is the perfect project for it. To get the look of the leaf simply fold a scrap piece of card stock in half then put it through the Crimper at an angle. Next, cut the shape of the leaf out.
