Olympics and Good Neighbors Birthday Card

Wow! It seems like forever the last time I stamped! Now that the Olympics are over I can concentrate on stamping! It was a fun experience with the Olympics happening in our city. We spend a lot time visiting the Olympic Free Venues and watching the Olympic events on tv. Lots and lots of people everywhere in downtown Vancouver!

My son, Jarod, loved going to all those places and collect pins! They are really pretty Olympic pins. He also bought some pins which cost a fortune for just one pin to add to his collections. Since it was an only one time thing I let him buy some.

The cauldron by the waterfront.

We got to hold one of the Olympic torches.

Here is a card I made using the Good Neighbors stamp set and the colours from the Cottage Wall DSP to make this card. Very simple card.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Happy Stamping!

Wow what a great experience living near the Olympics & to hold one of the flame torches is awesome! Your all going to remember this for a long time & what great pictures for scrapbook pages on this experience.

Beautiful card! Thanks for sharing Deanna.
