Mother's Day Blog Candy Giveaway

Hi, everyone! I can't believe this weekend is Mother's Day already. Yikes! I have not make any Mother's Day card at all this year. Didn't make any to post on my blog either. Will have to make a couple to give to my mom and MIL.

Anyway, I have a giveaway for you. You know that I'm a guest designer for Craft Project Central and as a designer I get to give away 1 FREE PASS to their site for the month of May to one lucky winner. Just in time for Mother's Day.
Leave a comment on this post telling me any Mother's Day memory you like to share or just comment is fine and I'll pick a winner on Sunday, May 8.

Here's my Mother's Day memory I like to share with you.
It was 12 years ago on Mother's Day my husband, my friends and I went to the Keg restaurant to have lunch on Sunday. Don't remember why we went to the Keg for. They had a Mother's Day steak dinner special. I rarely eat steak. I like it well done and most of the time when steak is well done they are tough to eat. Anyway, I ordered it but I was not a mother yet. Feel kind of silly in a way. My friends made fun of me but I didn't care because the steak was surprisingly good and tender. I love it! Still I don't eat a lot of steak due to my grinding of teeth. Hard for me to chew on beef. Little did I know on that day I was already pregnant. God has blessed me with a baby and I didn't find out until a week later. What a wonderful gift! 9 month's later my son was born. Wow! He'll be a teenager next year. Time sure flies.

I can't wait to hear what great Mother's Day memory you all have.

Have a wonderful day!

Deanna

Hey Deanna thanks for share... My favorite mother's day memory... I was like 12 years old and that day was raining, my grandmother decided to go to the baseball park to play with all her grandson. We play all day and we have so much fun and at the end of the day all our clothe and hair was covered with mud. I will never forget that day.

I liked your story. I love every year when my son gives me a card or something he made. He's always so proud of it and can't wait to see my reaction. He's gonna be 13 next year too. We were probably preggers at the same time!

We tried for another baby for over 6 years and I finally had one in November, so I am looking forward to having my first Mother's day with two kiddos!

Thanks for sharing ~ I have so many wonderful mother's day memories ~ one that comes to mind was the year our 7 yr old son (now 26) gave me a large paper mache alligator(that he created) to snuggle with if I ever got lonely when dad was at work! I still have it! Have a wonderful day ~ and thanks for the opportunity to win! that would be another grand gift :-)

My most favorite MD was after the birth of my first child. I was geeked about being a new mom. I felt so proud as they asked all the moms to stand on MD in church. My brother sent me a MD card "to a new mom". It was a big deal and still is!
