Happy Friday, everyone! Where have summer gone to? I can't believe tomorrow is September already. Time sure fly this year.
I made a Christmas card. A very colourful one. I don't make my cards with lots of colours often but this one is so pretty with all these colours.
I stamped snowflakes on different card stock and then punch them out with a 1-1/4" circle punch. The rest of the card is pretty much self explanatory.
BTW a good blogging friend brought this to my attention. I didn't realize that people have to type in a comment code verification before they can comment. I took it off so now you can comment without any hassle. Please comment if you have any questions or like my creations. I love to hear from you. Thank you Rita for letting me know.
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a nice long weekend before school starts.

Open Sea Thank You
Hello, stampers! Good day! I made some "thank you" cards for Martin to give to his friends. Black and white makes a nice masculine card. I love the Open Sea stamp set. One of my favourite stamp sets.

"And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm."
"But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and sea obey him!"
Matthew 8:26-27

Cheers Card
Hi, stampers! I made this card awhile ago. This card measures 4-1/4" x 8-1/2". Odd size card. It fits nicely into a legal size envelope.
I randomly stamped the snowflakes in VersaMark ink and then embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I sponged the card with Real Red and Certainly Celery inks. The image in the middle was done the same way. The image can be replace with a photo of your family and be a Christmas card to give to family and friends for Christmas. I just might make something like this this Christmas.

Teen Week Camp YES!
Hello, everyone! Here are some pictures of the Teen Camp Y.E.S! Jarod was so happy he got to go to teen camp this year where all his friends are. Jarod and his friend buying candy from the Tuk Shop. It is place where the campers can buy candies.
Hope and her friend Grace. Her family is a missionary in Quesnel, BC. Their personality is so much alike.
Kids getting their candies.
Faith and her friend Lindsay. They are junior campers but they are here at the camp because the parents are here helping. It is fun to get to enjoy camp for two weeks.
Game time.
Jarod cleans the washrooms. I just had to take a picture of him doing something.
This was the camp speaker Al Stone. He's a hoot. This picture is of him as an announcer for the bucket ball game.
Bucket ball game. Kids got so vicious especially the girls.
Jarod's cabin friends. John-Marc was his counselor. The guy in sunglasses.

Birthday Owl
Hello, stampers! I made this card for my girls' friend's birthday. Just a simple card. His party is always a big and fun one. The dads and the kids get to play water gun fight. Dads against kids. This year they played for a really long time. I stayed far away from the fight but ended getting wet any.

Vintage Christmas Ornament
Good day! Hope you are having a wonderful day! This summer seems to be busy for me. I'm hardly at home. I finally have the chance to create something.
I was so excited when Stampin'Up! sent me the Holiday Mini Catalogue. I love the ornament on the cover so I ordered the Ornament Keepsakes Bundle that have the stamp set and the framelits when it was available to order.
I case the ornament on the cover of the catalogue. I did mine in kraft colour. I added the Scalloped Tulle Ribbon to the ornament. The rosette in the middle was made with satin ribbon and the tutorial can be found here. To make the ornament look pretty I added a pearl in the middle.
I'm going to make lots of these as Christmas gifts and maybe sell them too.

Junior Camp YES!
Hello, everyone! I'm back from 2 weeks of camping. No stamping creations to show you today.Just some camping pictures. I volunteered to help out in the kitchen for our church annual Camp YES! (youth excited about salvation!). I enjoyed serving these young people for the Lord. The photo above is of the camp logo. I'll show you some of the pictures of the Junior Camp first. Teen camp on another post.
Here is one of the games they played during the week. That's Faith in the middle trying her best on tug-of-war.
Faith and her friends. She is so grown up.
Here is one of the skit that the brother Stansford the guest preacher and brother Lawrence did. Such a silly skit but fun to watch. Brother Stansford is a missionary in Marystown, New Foundland and Labrador.
Here is another one. Brother Stansford was the princess in this photo and brother Lawrence was the Queen.
Hope's new friend Carly. Best friends right away.
Faith's cabin campers and her counselor. That's my pastor in the back.
Faith and her counselor Jamie Rowe (a deaf missionary to Peru).
Martin and Superman.
Last day of camp. Another of camp come to an end.
Thank you for visiting today. Hope you enjoy looking at the camp pictures.
