Simple Thank You

Sorry, for lack of posting. Next week is VBS (Vacation Bible School) and I need to get the crafts ready. I still need to get some samples made and to see how long the crafts take to make. Our church is aiming for 80 kids this year. A little scary but excited.

This is a really quick and simple "thank you" card. I coloured the flowers with markers onto the stamp then stamped the image onto a whisper white card stock. Then I cut the flowers and mounted them onto the designer paper with dimensional. Very easy.

Another Two Fresh Cuts Cards From One Flower

I made two more cards from the Fresh Cuts stamp set and the Fresh Cuts Note Cards.

accessories-brads, ribbon, 1/16" and 1/8" hand held punches

Have you got the Fresh Cuts stamp set yet?

You should be. I fell in love with this set the minute I saw it. It is so beautiful. I guess every flower set is beautiful.

Here are two cards I made yesterday. This one is a 4x4 note card. The card came die cut in whisper white and you can decorate it the way you like it.

For this card I used the punch our pieces from the top card to make the flower. Simply line the petals in a flower shape then stamp the background image from the Fresh Cuts set and adhere to you choice of card stock. There you go. Isn't that a great tip? Don't throw away those little petal pieces cause they are very useful. You get two cards out of one flower.

A Pleasant Surprise

I was so excited when I got a call from my upline Caro all the way from Ontario. Why am I so excited you ask? We've never talk to each other before. Only been emailing back and forth. It was nice talking to her.

Anyway, she called to congratulate me. I entered in a SU Demo monthly contest and I won. Yahoo! Praise the Lord! It is my first contest I entered and can't believe I won. I get to pick three FREE stamp sets. How cool is that? Here was my choices- Lovely Alpha, Jumbo Outline Alpha, and Great Grads stamp sets. These stamp sets have not touch ink yet. Sadly but true. I guess I'll have to use them soon or they'll feel neglected. lol

Well, I made a mini round album with a matching keepsake box for the contest. I used two Carousal Notes to make the box. That's all I'm going to say about this box. This will wet your appetite a little. I will post the pictures in a later date. Check back often to see this beautiful box.

edit to add: My name is in the July Stampin' Success (a monthly magazine for demos) with no picture yet. My project is property of SU now so I'll wait till they publish the picture in the next Stampin' Success then I'll post it here. Hope you don't have to wait too long.

My husband and I are preparing for our church annual VBS so I'll be quite busy. We are in charge of the crafts.

Father's Day Class

Teacher Gift

School is almost over less than a month. This is a great "thank you" gift to give to your child's/ children's teacher(s).

This package includes a card, picture frame and a post-it-note holder. I used the Ginger Blossoms DP to make this set.

I took the rhinestone out of the rhinestone brad using a plier. Then I glue the rhinestone with Crystal Effect.

Carousel Scrapbook Page

I made a 6x6 scrapbook page using the Carousel Note from the Occasion Mini. This is a picture of little Hope. She is sooo adorable even with her hair sticking up. I love to scrapbook but sadly I have not done much. I'm glad for the Carousel Notes which made it easy for me to make a page in no time.

Sorry, for the haziness of the picture. I took this picture from my display board that I take to workshops and classes.

Lots of Flowers Birthday Card

I'm always making birthday cards. One can never have enough. I love this colour combo. My favourite colours.

I used the Coluzzle to make the oval for the "Happy Birthday" sentiment. all the flowers are mounted with dimensional.

p.s. My dad is at home now. The doctor never told use what is wrong with him but I'm glad he is o.k. Thank you for all your prayers.

Father's Day Card

Another Father's Day card or it can be a birthday card.

My dad's birthday is coming up on June 2. He is in the hospital right now. The doctor did not say what kind of sickness he is having but have to stay for few more days. I hope he is able to be out before his birthday. Please pray for his salvation and for fast recovery.

For Father

Here is a card that can hold a gift card or money. It is a perfect gift for Father's Day.

It uses a 4 1/4" x 10 3/4" card stock score at 4 1/4" and 8 3/4". I got this idea from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. She is such a talented lady.


I didn't have any other gift cards one hand so I use the Linens and Things gift card for you to see how the gift card fit inside the card. I use the word window punch to punch out the slot to hold the gift card.

Father's Day Card

Wall Hanging

I made this wall hanging sample for the Mother's Day class in May. We did the three panel one (see here) and I wanted to show them they can do one also.
This wall hanging was so simple and fast to make.

I used the Afternoon Tea DP for the background and the One of a Kind stamp set flowers and punched them out with the Boho Blossoms punch. I put rhinestones in the middle of the flowers and then mounted the flowers with dimensional.
