Hanging Valentine Hearts

Hello stampers! Happy New Year! I feel a lot better from the car accident. Thank you for praying for me. I don't have constant headache, neck or back pain anymore. Still have pain but I can bear little pain. Physiotherapy really helps. I still can't look down too long. Makes my neck hurt.

Since I missed creating projects for Christmas I thought I start making Valentine projects early for the new year. I took it easy making it since I'm not 100% well yet. Rest when needed.

I made hanging hearts on strings. It would be nice to hang these around the house. I die cut all the pink and red papers I have using the Hearts Collection Framelits Die.

After I die cut all the hearts I fold them in half and then sew them together. Each hearts has 6 pieces of hearts sewn together. I put three sets of hearts together and then tape them onto a string.

I sewed the hearts together instead of gluing them together. I want them to flutter out to make them 3D like.

Top view of the sewn hearts.

These are the little hearts at the bottom of each heart strings. These tally ties the hanging hearts together.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy creating!

Christmas Snowflake Gift Tags

Hello stampers! Time sure fly by fast. It is Christmas already. Hope you got all your shopping done. One year I didn't and had to shop on Christmas Eve. The mall was so busy. It was not a good idea at all.

I was asked to make some gift tags for the treats for the Christian School kids. This was what I made, a snowflake ones. The kids did a wonderful job performing the Christmas play on Sunday night and each one of them received a yummy treat bag for their job well done.

I stamped the snowflakes using the Festive Flurry stamp set and then die cut them using the Festive Flurry Framelits Dies. I put a blue rhinestone in the middle of each snowflakes. The sentiment is from the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set and then was punched out using the Word Window punch. The snowflakes were nicely tied to the bags. All the kids love it, the treats I mean.

Happy Holidays! Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Holidays

Wishing you all a blessed and safe Christmas Season! Happy Holidays! Jesus is the reason for the season.

I made a simple Christmas card this year.  I'm bless by a friend who gave me tons and tons of kraft card stock so I use it for the cards this year. Still have lots. Need to think of uses for it.

I used the new Festive Flurry snowflake. The biggest one in the set.

Update on my injury from car accident. I have constant back, neck and headache. Sometime it is hard to sit in one position. I'm becoming a wiggle worm at church services. I need to see the physiotherapy 3 times a week. I can't look down too long. It hurts to do that. I can't stamp long anymore which requires looking down a lot. Please pray for me. Not fun getting injure.

Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!

Festive Flurry Snowflake

Good day! Finally, I was able to make the snowflake that I want to make for the longest time when I first saw the Festive Flurry stamp set and the matching framelit die this past weekend. I was in pain from the car accident on Thursday and wanted to keep the pain off my mind so I made a snowflake. Took me awhile to finished the snowflake though. Not easy to do things when you are in pain. A lady cut into our lane when she turned left and hit the front of our car. We were stop at the stop sign waiting to turn right to go to Michael's. I was the passenger and my husband was the driver. He seems to be ok. I was glad our kids wasn't with us. God is good! He protected us.

Anyway, onto the snowflake. I added blue rhinestones to the each points of the snowflakes. Gotta have some bling to the snowflake.

I'm going to make a different one using embossing powder. Can't wait ti make it.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Thinking Of You Card

Hello stampers! I'm still here. Have been busy and sick a lot. Couldn't get to my stamping corner to stamp. I'm a lot better now. I had to take a higher amount of iron supplement to eat the energy I needed. If you are new to my blog you might not know that I'm anemia. Not a life and death kind of sickness but it does slow me down a lot. Can't do many things like stamping. That's pretty important to me. lol

Anyway, here is a card I made. A simple one since I have not stamp for awhile.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Little Pumpkin Baby Shower

Thought some of you might like to see the decorations from the baby shower. The theme was Our Little Pumpkin'. I wasn't in charge of decorating this time. This was the gifts table area.

Food table. I took the picture before there was food on it.

Centre piece for the guests tables.

Wreathe with hanging pumpkins.

A tree made out of foam.

Hanging pumpkins made out of paper lanterns.

A pumpkin cake. A lady at church made this. It was so cute. See the baby on top of the cake and little mushrooms at the bottom around the cake? So cute!

Close up of the baby. I think it was made out of fondant.

Pumpkin baby.

Pumpkin baby in a tutu. A lady made it for the baby.

Here a another picture of the scrapbook/guest book I made. You can see the inside of the book here.

Thank you for stopping by! Hope you enjoy looking at the baby shower decorations! Happy creating!

Baby Ella Mae's Baby Shower

I went to a baby shower last night but baby is not born yet. I always find it weird to go to a baby shower with no baby. I made a scrapbook/guest book for the baby. I made a blanket and hat also but it doesn't match the book. The book match the colour of the baby's room.

I made 12 pages for putting pictures of baby's first year.

I die cut 3 different colours 4 of each card stockfor putting pictures in. The guest could sign around it.

The book was attached by 2 binder rings. I covered the holes with one of the Apothecary Accents framelits. Added ribbons to the rings to make them look pretty.

Thought some of you might like to see the shower decorations so I'll post some pictures from the shower on the next post. If you like to see the blanket and hat up close and individually you can see it here.

Roses Birthday Wishes Card

Good day everyone! I had a great Thanksgiving celebration this past weekend. Had 2 turkey dinners and had some left over for the week. Not as much as other years where we eat left overs for days. We usually make turkey sandwiches and they are the best.

I made a birthday card with roses background paper. Couldn't find a rose stamp so I used the Fresh Vintage stamp for the main image. Close enough, I think. I got the colour swatch from the background paper and  then coloured the image by using markers. Very easy to do.

Turkey Favour Boxes

Hello, blog stamper friends! Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian readers! I'm thankful for each and everyone of you (far and near and all parts of the World) for coming by and visit my blog.

I invited some friends over for Thanksgiving dinner and made everyone a turkey favour box to take home. I filled it with some sweet treats. Aren't these turkey cute? I love them! My girls wants one too.

The turkeys was made with a Petal Cone Die. Did I ever tell you that I love this die? There are so many possibilities with this die. The tail was made with Scallop Circle Die.  The beak, eyes and the wattle are made from punches.

I made 2 different tails but I like the one on the right more so that's what I made instead for everyone.

Thank you for visiting today! Happy creating!

Sweet One Baby Card and Thank You Cards

Happy Friday everyone! I'm going to 2 baby shower tonight. I was able to make some cards last night and it was good to be able to stamp something. It is a combine shower for a baby girl and a baby boy. I made this card for the baby girl.

I made few "thank you" cards for the mother to use. The "thank you" cards matches the baby card. They are the same layout cards but just the background papers are different.

Candy Corn Box

My daughter Faith loves candy corn so I made her a box to hold her candy corn. I made one for Hope and Jarod too.

I'm not a fan of candy corn but I love the candy corn box. No calories! That's the best part! I used the Petal Cone Die to make the box.  It took a few tries to get the right measurements but I finally got it. If you have been following my blog for awhile you know I love the Petal Cone Die that Stampin'Up! use to sell and I use it a lot.

Sorry, no tutorial for this box. I don't get around to do tutorials anymore.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!
