What Kind of flower Is This?

Hello everyone! Good day!

I'm not sure what kind of flower this is. Could someone tell me? I think is chrysanthemum but not sure.
This flower is from the Fabulous Florets stamp set. I stamped the flower once on paper and then stamp off to get the lighter shade of the flower without re-inking the stamp. I used the Elegant Lines Embossing folder for the background. I made a few of these cards to give to a friend for her birthday that is coming up.

Thank you for visiting today! Have a fabulous day!

For The New Baby Girl

Hello stampers! Good evening. I went to a baby shower tonight. It was a small but fun one. Played a game that I didn't do too well on and got to give an encouragement in a 6" x6" card size to the mother.  It was fun to hear what everybody's encouragement was to the mother.

I made this card for the baby and gave her some outfits. The shower was short notice so didn't have time to make her a paint can. Wish I have time to make some to lay around so when there is a shower I can just add their names to the can.

Thank you for visiting today! Have a nice evening or day for some of you who read this in the morning!

Supplies;
stamp-A New Little Someone
papers-whisper white, pretty in pink, pink pirouette, bravo burgundy
inks-chocolate chip
accessories-1/4" grosgrain ribbon, organdy ribbon, eyelet border punch, decorative label punch, vintage wallpaper embossing folder, big shot die-cutting machine

Christmas Card in July

Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday!

My first Christmas card of the year. Isn't weird to be making Christmas card in July? Oh, but Christmas will be here before you know it. I'm going to build my stash of Christmas cards early this year . Last year it crept up on me unnoticed and I didn't have many cards to give to friends and family. It is kind of hard to think of Christmas when it is so warm outside so I made a very simple one to start my mojo going.

So has anyone else start making their Christmas cards yet? I would love to hear about it.

Thank you for stopping today! Have a nice day!

Supplies:
stamp-Welcome Christmas, French Foliage
papers-chocolate chip, crumb cake, ruby red, whisper white, DSP
inks-chocolate chip, garden green, ruby red, crumb cake
accessories-brad, felt snowflakes

Red Hydrangea?

Happy Saturday! Beautiful sunny day today! Made me very happy to have a nice day after the gloomy Canada Day. Hope you all had a wonderful Canada Day yesterday. We wanted to see the festival at Stevestons but couldn't find any parking so we ended up going to strawberry picking instead. The girls really enjoyed it. Our son wasn't with us and Faith wasn't too happy with anything we do but I was glad she enjoyed the strawberry picking.

Red hydrangea? I don't think I have ever seen a red one before. Only in stamping creation. Using up my left over card packages again for these cards. I'm barely making a dent on my stash of card packages.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a fabulous long weekend!

Fabulous Florets Birthday Card

Happy Thursday everyone! I have been busy using up all the extra pre-cut packages from previous classes that were left over. Some of them were about 5 years old. Can't believe I keep them around for that long. I'm running out of room in my house and I really need to clear them out.

I made the card totally new and different from what the card in the package was supposed to be.
Well, I better run and create some more.

Thank you for visiting me today. Have a good day!

Hello everyone! Happy Friday!

I made a pack of these cards for my kids' piano teacher as "thank you" for teaching them. I used the Flower Garden Embossing folder, can found in the Summer Mini catalogue, for the main image. For the card base I used the Square Lattice Embossing folder.

I used the Stampin' Dauber to colour in the flowers. The rest of the card is pretty much self explanatory. Very simple card. Hope she likes it and make use of them.

Altered Wooden Box - Inside

Hello stampers! Happy Saturday! Here is the finished creation of the altered wooden box. I made 3 sets of notes cards to go into the box. Great gift for Father's Day.

Here is the inside of the box. I covered it with the Nautical Expedition DSP.

Here is a picture of the note cards inside the box. The inside of the box is shy 1/4" for the cards to stand up so I had lay them down. If I stack the cards neatly to one side I can add something small in there.

Hope this gives you an idea for Father's Day gift. I really love this box. It is so pretty. I might be able to part with it. My youngest daughter said that I can put jeweleries in there. I just laugh at her. Now she want me to make her and her sister one in girly style so they can put their jeweleries in. When I do I'll show you my creation.

Thank you for visiting me today. Have a wonderful weekend!

NSR: King James Bible Conference

Big sign by the staircase of our church.

Hello everyone! Happy Wednesday!

I want to show you some pictures of the King James Bible Conference that was held by our church GVBC this past Monday and Tuesday. These are pictures of the Bibles display. It was a wonderful conference and lots of things I've learned. Most of them I probably have forgotten. Good thing that all the sermons of the conference were recorded and will be available to watch soon. For now enjoy the pictures.

KJV Bible and a picture of King James. This is the English Bible that made it possible for us to read the inspired Word of God.

This Bible has a lock on it. Back in the old days Bibles were only available in the church. People had to go to the church to read the Bible which means the church had to stay open all the time. Because of this Bibles went missing so they decided to lock it up.

Spanish Bible. These letter openers and the magnifying glass are so pretty.

Pens used to write the Word of God.

Very thick Bibles with a pretty clasp on it.

More Bibles with pretty clasps. I love these ones with the engraving on them.

Cool little Bible scrolls.

Not sure what this is but my guess it is a mini printing press? Didn't have time to ask questions about all these Bibles and stuff on display. Busy tending to my kids and just enough time to take these pictures for you to see.

Well, this is a really long post but I hope you enjoy these wonderful pictures of the Bible display.

It was so amazing to be at the conference today to learn the time line of the Bible.

Well, here are two cards I made for my brothers. My dad's card is an old one I made long time ago. This top one was made using the Sail Away stamp and the Nautical Expedition DSP.

Altered Wooden Box

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful Friday! Love the sunshine outside. Weird that there are still snow up on the mountain in June here in Vancouver.

Here is the before picture of the box I've altered.

Here it is after I altered it. I had this wooden box for ages and finally decided to cover it. I love, love this box! It is not done yet but I just can't keep it away from you. I just had to show you the outside first. I'll show you the inside when I'm done with it and what will go in it. Makes a great Father's Day, graduation and birthday gifts for those masculine people in your life.

I love the Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper. I might have to order more of this pack of paper. I use it so often.

I used the The Open Sea stamp set to decorate this box.

Well, I better go and finish the inside of this box. Thank you for stopping by! Have a nice weekend!
